A pelletizing press for producing pellets from material to be pressed, preferably from biomass, for use as fuel in fire places, wherein the biomass consists of cellulosic and/or lignocellulosic fibers, chips or shreds. In the pelletizing press, a dispersion chamber is formed by at least one die having a plurality of bores for pressing the biomass and at least by a lateral wall, and at least one roller rolling on a rolling surface of the die is arranged in the dispersion chamber. A pelletizing press of this method for producing pellets enables the formation of a dispersion chamber that, by means of at least one lateral wall, is as compact and sealed as possible relative to the prior art. At least two lateral wall parts are arranged to form a lateral wall; at least the first lateral wall part is arranged to be movable in relation to the second lateral wall part for carrying out a relative movement.

Pelletizing press for producing pellets

A pellet press for producing pellets from material which is to be compressed. In the pellet press, the biomass is compressed through the holes of the die by at least one press device comprising a roller which rolls on the die, to form pellets. The die and/or the roller move in relation to each other during the production thereof. Provides essential machine elements or modules which are simple to access and also quick to exchange. The construction and operation of the pellet press should be modular so that the production power can be variably adjusted and/or the production is independent of the repairs of individual modules. At least one press device comprising at least one roller and/or the die is arranged inside a press frame in the pellet press, the press frame being embodied in the form of at least one C-frame and/or at least one window frame.

Pellet press for producing pellets

A pelletizing press for producing pellets, preferably from biomass, for use as fuel in fireplaces, includes at least one die having a plurality of bores for pressing the biomass, at least one roll rolling on a rolling surface of the die, and at least one drive device for the die and/or the roll. The pelletizing press makes it possible to use a die having as low a height as possible, and thus as short a bore length as possible. For mounting the die, a carrier plate seated in a substantially planar manner against the die is arranged downstream of the die in the passage direction of the biomass. At least one opening for releasing the bores of the die is arranged in the carrier plate.

Sieving device and method for sorting out foreign particles and a system for the production of composite wood boards with such a sieving device

The invention relates to a method for preheating a pressed material mat () spread on an endlessly and continuously circulating molding band () during manufacture of wood material boards, wherein microwaves from one or both press surface sides are beamed into the pressed material mat () to preheat the pressed material mat () and the pressed material mat () is compacted and hardened by application of pressure and heat after transfer to a continuously operating press (). The invention consists of microwaves in a frequency range of 2400-2500 MHz being used to heat the pressed material mat (), wherein the microwaves for each press surface side are generated from 20 to 300 microwave generators () with magnetrons () of a respective output of 3 to 50 kW. A device for preheating pressed material mats () is also provided, in which 20 to 300 microwave generators () with magnetrons () with an output of 3 to 50 kW and with a frequency range of 2400-2500 MHz are arranged in a conveyor furnace () per area side.

Method and device for preheating a pressed material mat during manufacture of wood material boards

A continuously operating press for the continuous manufacture of wood material boards having a textured surface on at least one side includes: an upper frame part and a lower frame part; two endless steel belts configured to draw a mat of material through the continuously operating press and to transfer press pressure, each steel belt associated with one of the upper frame part and the lower frame part; an endless metal mesh belt associated with a corresponding one of the steel belts; an insulating tunnel associated with the metal mesh belt and the corresponding steel belt; and a heating tunnel associated with the metal mesh belt and separated from the corresponding steel belt. The metal mesh belt includes a material having a thermal conductivity substantially higher than that of the corresponding steel belt and having a thermal expansion coefficient approximately equal to that of the corresponding steel belt.

Method and apparatus for the manufacture of chip boards and fiber boards

Method and apparatus for the manufacture of compacts

A method and a multi-platen press for the practice of the process for the manufacture of wood material boards, especially OSB boards, in which an endless mat is formed from a wood chip and binding agent mixture. The mat is introduced between the heated press platens of a multi-platen press, the press platens have steam openings directed at the mat and by steam and contact heat from press platens they are heated, pressed and cured into wood material boards. The mat, formed from a wood chip and phenolic resin mixture, is introduced into the level(s) of a single-stage or multi-stage press and deposited therein. After a light precompression, the introduction of a small amount of steam with a low steam temperature takes place through the press platens only in the cover layers of the mat. The mat is quickly compressed and cured to the end thickness of the board.

Method and single or multiple platen press for the manufacture of wood material boards

A method of making panel-shaped products by hot-pressing a multi-layered formed body of chips of lignocellulose-containing annual plants impregnated with an isocyanate binder, is to avoid the problem of the adhesion of the isocyanate binder. For this purpose, the cover layer material is divided into a cover layer material fine fraction ( ) and a cover layer material coarse fraction ( ), whereby the cover layer material fine fraction ( ) is pre-mixed with adhesion promoters and/or wetting agents and/or acids and/or bases, and next glued with amino and/or phenolic plastics, and the cover layer material coarse fraction ( ) is glued with isocyanate or mixtures of isocyanate and amino and/or phenolic plastics. Next, a five-layered formed body is spread, whereby the outermost cover layers of the formed body consist of the cover layer material fine fraction glued with amino and/or phenolic plastics.

Method of producing panel-shaped products

In a method of producing panel-shaped products by hot pressing a formed multi-layered body of lignocellulose-containing chips impregnated with binder, different binders are used in the middle layer and in the cover layers arranged on both sides of the middle layer, the cover layers consist of chips of wood or other raw materials based on wood impregnated with a binder including amino and/or phenolic plastics, and the middle layer consists of a mixture of chips of lignocellulose-containing annual plants chips of wood or other raw materials based on wood impregnated with a binder including an isocyanate.

An apparatus and a method for the production of boards of ligneous material in which a mat is formed of pressed material treated with a binding agent. The mat moves continuously away from a spreading station and after introduction between the steel bands of a continuously operating hot press is cured to form a board strand by the application of pressure and heat. Immediately after leaving the hot press the hot board strand is exposed to a cooling apparatus. In this invention the two surfaces of the hot board strand are abruptly quenched and moistened with a water spray in a first cooling section which contains an evaporation zone and which is variable in length and adaptable to the thickness of the strand. The board strand is held under the pressure of multiple calendar rolls, and in a directly adjoining second cooling section, it is guided with light specific pressure through a double-belt hold-down apparatus in which the backs of the hold-down belts are sprayed with an appropriate coolant as it passes.

Method and apparatus for the continuous and discontinuous production of boards of ligneous material

A method is provided for making ligneous material boards into an endless board strand with a continuously operating press. The press includes two flexible endless steel belts which take the press material between them and carry it through the press. The steel belts thrust with friction-reducing elements against heated press plates of the press table and press ram and a cooling system that follows. The cooling system is configured as a double-belt holding apparatus with an applicable holding pressure up to a maximum of 0 to 0.05 N/mm . A diagonal sawing apparatus, which is disposed directly behind the continuously operating press and ahead of the cooling system, divides the board strand into single boards. Several rows of coolant spray nozzles disposed on the backs of the holding belts making contact with the single boards.

Method for the continuous production of organically bonded boards of ligneous material

The invention relates to a method of gluing veneers to form LVL and plywood boards from veneers laid one over the other in several layers by curing the adhesive placed between the single layers in a heated press. The invention consists in the fact that the gluing and pressing of the outer layers of a veneer pack to form LVL and plywood boards is performed by high-temperature adhesive and the inner layers by low-temperature adhesive, so that the amount of heat to be put into the veneer pack decreases from the outside in.
