A method for treating containers in which, at a treatment station, the containers are provided on container outer surfaces thereof with a print that including a colorant. The colorant can be dye or ink. The method includes, at a treatment station, processing the colorant by irradiating the containers with non-thermal energy radiation. Processing the colorant includes drying or curing it. The method also includes decontaminating a region of the containers with the same radiation, either by disinfecting or sterilizing it. The region includes either or both a container opening and a container inner surface.

A method for converting a first container stream into a second container stream that has a different width from said first container stream includes moving a container from the first container stream to a first transfer position, at the first transfer position, using a container holder of a conversion section to grip the container, to move it along a third transport direction until it arrives at a selected one of a several second transfer positions, and to then release it onto the second transport section, thereby enabling the container to join the second container stream. The second transfer positions are offset relative to each other in a direction along the second width.

The invention relates to a method for verifying an identification circuit () integrated in a component to be identified, having the following steps: a) entering a primary key in the identification circuit (), b.) reading a secondary key output by the identification circuit () in reaction to the input of the primary key, c.) providing a control key associated with the primary key, d.) comparing the control key to the output secondary key, e.) providing a result of the comparison step, wherein in case of a match of the secondary key to the control key, the component having the identification circuit is identified as an original component, and in the opposite case, as a counterfeit component, and wherein the identification circuit () comprises non-conducting, semiconducting, and conducting materials disposed and connected to each other such that at least one electronic circuit configuration is formed, comprising at least one defined mathematical function and configured for determining the secondary key from the primary key inputted into the identification circuit (), and providing said secondary key for readout, at least using the at least one mathematical function.

Method of verifying an identification circuit

The method and the device are used to monitor the intensity of an electron beam. In order to detect changes in intensity of the electron beam, electromagnetic radiation directly or indirectly emitted by the electron beam is detected and evaluated. This particularly refers to the evaluation of ultraviolet radiation and/or radiation in the range of visible light.
