A conveying method, wherein a conveying vehicle conveys an electrically driven motor vehicle during assembly thereof. In this method, the conveying vehicle uses energy which is stored in a traction battery of the motor vehicle. For this purpose, the conveying vehicle has an electrical interface which is connected to the traction battery of the motor vehicle, and a converter. This lowers an electrical voltage provided by the traction battery via the electrical interface to a value suitable for the conveying vehicle. The energy drawn by the traction battery can be used above all for the particular drive of the conveying vehicle and/or for other electrical loads of the conveying vehicle. As a result, an on-board battery for the conveying vehicle can have much smaller dimensions or can even be omitted completely.

Method and vehicle for conveying an electrically driven motor vehicle during assembly thereof

A method for the transport of elongated workpieces and workers, in a production line which has a rectilinear production section. A plurality of conveyor trolleys, which respectively have an assembly platform that extends over the whole of the conveyor trolley length and is accessible for workers, move in the rectilinear production section jointly along a direction of conveyance and form a convoy in which the assembly platforms of adjacent conveyor trolleys adjoin one another in an at least substantially gap-free manner. The workpieces are arranged in such a way on the assembly platforms that a longitudinal direction of the workpieces is arranged at an angle between 25&#xb0; and 65&#xb0;, and preferably of about 45&#xb0;, to the direction of conveyance.

Method and conveying system for the simultaneous transport of elongated workpieces and workers in a production line

The invention relates to an installation for coating objects, said installation having, in a manner known per se, a coating chamber which is arranged upstream from a drying chamber. The objects to be coated are carried by skids which are guided through the coating chamber and the drying chamber by means of a skid transport system. Each skid comprises two skid runners, extending parallel to the direction of displacement, and is embodied in such a way that adjacent skids can travel inside each other such that they partially overlap in the direction of displacement. In this way, the objects carried by successive skids can be separated from each other in the coating chamber such that all of the surfaces of the objects to be coated can be easily reached by the application devices.
