The invention relates to a damping device for parts of furniture which are joined together by means of hinges and which can be pivoted in relation to each other. The housing contains a damping fluid in the cavity thereof and a resistance element which can be displaced relative to the damping fluid and connected to an actuating element protruding from the housing. During at least one part of the pivoting movement of both pieces of furniture, said actuating element is drivingly connected to the second piece of furniture and transfers the movement distributed to the second piece of furniture to the resistance element. The damping device is arranged in the region of at least one of the hinges which pivotally couples both pieces of furniture, and whereby either the damping housing and/or the actuating element engages with one of the mounting element of the corresponding hinges, at least during the damping process.

Damping device with a joint hinge

A furniture fitting including frame sections which are preferably extruded and are intended to enclose furniture parts in the form of plates or panels, wherein the flame sections have an open groove extending in the longitudinal direction receive and retain a retaining part of the fitting. The groove is narrowed by two shoulders which are parallel to one another with end faces facing one another, wherein the retaining part has a flange portion which can be supported on the free upper face of the shoulders and in which there is provided at least one bore for rotatably retaining the shank, which engages in the groove, of a clamping element which selectively fixes the retaining part on the frame section or releases it for disassembly or longitudinal displacement in the longitudinal direction of the groove.

Arrangement for fixing furniture fittings to frame profiles of plate-type or board type furniture elements

The invention relates to a damping device for parts of furniture which are joined together by means of hinges and which can be pivoted in relation to each other. Damping device

Mounting plate () which can be fixed on the supporting wall of the carcass of a piece of furniture for adjustably retaining the bracket of a furniture hinge, wherein the said mounting plate has a flat base plate () with wing projections (), which project from opposing long edges and in each of which at least one through hole () for a fixing screw is provided, and an elongate bracket retaining part () projecting from the base plate () between the wing projections (). The base plate () is provided in its underside facing the carcass supporting wall with a flat recess of large surface area in which a planar adjusting plate with a thickness substantially equal to the internal depth of the recess is adjustably disposed so as to be movable in at least one co-ordinate direction. The elongate bracket retaining part () is disposed on the upper face of the base plate () opposite the adjusting plate and is connected to the adjusting plate by way of connecting elements which pass through holes in the base plate.

Mounting plate for adjustably retaining furniture hinges on the body of pieces of furniture

Furniture hinge () for pivotally mounting a door leaf () to a cupboard body whose door-side front is narrowed by a frame that projects inwardly at a right angle to the side walls. The hinge has a hinge arm () made of sheet metal and provided with a mounting plate () on the side facing the cupboard body. The mounting plate () can be releaseably secured in superposition with a fastening plate () disposed on the free end face () of a frame element () of the frame that faces away from the side wall. At least one slot-like elongated through opening () is provided in the mounting plate () and in the fastening plate (), through which opening the shank of a fastening screw () can be screwed into the frame element. The fastening screw can be screwed into a fixing tenon (), which is fixed in a bore hole () disposed in the frame element () and from which there protrudes at least one guide projection, which engages in the elongated through opening of the fastening plate and is supported by the side edges of the through opening (). A lug-like projection of an adjusting element () provided with a cam () is rotatably supported in a bearing bore disposed in the front end region of the fixing tenon (), with the adjusting element () supported on the longitudinal sides of the through opening (). The adjusting element () includes an actuating section located above the cam. The head of the fastening screw () can be screwed in clamping engagement on the top side of the actuating section.
