A method and a device for introducing and/or adding non-dry-powder additive materials and/or coating materials with a liquid, solid, semi-solid, or paste-like consistency or in suspended or emulsified form, for example, peroxides, fats, waxes, IV improvers, polymers, or similar materials, to an existing lumpy or particulate material which is moved and mixed, and optionally warmed and reduced to small pieces in a receptacle and/or compressor, said material being in particular polymer particles and/or flakes, wood fibers, paper cuttings, or similar materials. According to the invention, the additive material is introduced below the level of the material and/or material particles already in the receptacle.

Process and device for introducing additive materials in a receptacle at the area of highest pressure

Disclosed is a device and a method for processing plastic material with at least one receiving container, wherein at least one mixing and/or comminution tool, rotatable about a rotation axis, is arranged, for mixing and warming the plastic material, and with at least one conveyor for discharging the plastic material from the receiving container, with at least one screw rotating in a housing, where the conveyor is connected, at its material inlet side via an opening which is formed in a side wall of the receiving container, with the interior of the receiving container. An imaginary extension of the central longitudinal axis of the conveyor extends, against the conveyance direction of the conveyor, past the rotation axis of the receiving container, without intersecting this axis, where the longitudinal axis of the conveyor is offset by a separation relative to the radial ray of the receiving container on the discharge side.

Device for processing plastic material

The present invention concerns a method for processing and detoxification of a material, especially a thermoplastic material, and for removal of contaminants or impurities from this material, wherein the material is heated under vacuum in at least one receiving tank, mixed and possibly comminuted, and wherein a rinsing medium is introduced into the receiving tank beneath the material level, conducted through at least a partial region of the material, and the rinsing medium enriched or saturated with contaminants is brought out from the receiving tank once more. According to the invention, the quantity of rinsing medium introduced into the receiving tank is less than 0.1 liter per hour per kilogram of material or material throughput per hour, while at the same time the vacuum in the receiving tank is kept constantly below 100 mbar.

Method for preparing and detoxifying using liquid rinsing medium

The invention relates to a method and to an assembly for recycling plastic materials, comprising the following processing steps: a) reprocessing the raw material, wherein the material, if necessary, is comminuted and brought into a fluid-like form and heated and permanently mixed, while preserving the lumpiness and pourability thereof, and optionally the viscosity thereof is increased and/or it is degassed, softened, dried and/or crystallized; b) melting the reprocessed material, at least so much that filtration is possible; c) filtering the melt in order to remove impurities; d) homogenizing the filtered melt; e) degassing the homogenized melt; and f) discharging and/or subsequently processing the melt, such as by granulation, blown film processing, with said processing steps being carried out consecutively in the order listed (FIG.).

The invention relates to a method and to an assembly for recycling plastic materials, comprising the following processing steps: a) reprocessing the raw material, wherein the material, if necessary, is comminuted and brought into a fluid-like form and heated and permanently mixed, while preserving the lumpiness and pourability thereof, and optionally the viscosity thereof is increased and/or it is degassed, softened, dried and/or crystallized; b) melting the reprocessed material, at least so much that filtration is possible; c) filtering the melt in order to remove impurities; d) homogenizing the filtered melt; e) degassing the homogenized melt; and f) discharging and/or subsequently processing the melt, such as by granulation, blown film processing, with said processing steps being carried out consecutively in the order listed.

The invention at hand relates to a rotor disk () to be inserted into a receptacle () for the treatment of polymers, having a disk body () on whose top side () mixing and/or comminuting tools () are providable and on whose opposite underside () a number of conveying ribs () extending from the interior to the exterior are provided with which during operation polymer particles are transportable towards the exterior or, respectively, that during operation exert a force directed from the center () of the rotor disk () towards the exterior on the polymer particles grasped by the conveying ribs (). In accordance with the invention it is provided that the conveying ribs () are curved concavely in the direction of rotation or, respectively, of movement.

Method and apparatus for processing of plastic material

The present invention relates to a method for producing a polymer material filled with longer fibers, wherein the fibers, which typically have a residual moisture content of approximately 5 to 8% and a minimum length of more than 2 mm, and the carrier material are mixed and heated in a reactor or cutter-compacter, constantly moving them and optionally comminuting the carrier material, and constantly maintaining the pourability and/or lumpiness. According to the invention, the conditions, and particularly the temperature, in the reactor are adjusted so as to dry the fibers to the lowest residual moisture possible, at which the fibers are just barely sufficiently flexible so as not to break during processing in the reactor, or during an optionally following compression step, for example extrusion.

Method for producing a polymer material filled with long fibers

The present invention relates to a method and to a device for injection molding plastic material, wherein the starting plastic material to be treated is first subjected to a pretreatment, wherein the plastic material is heated in a receiving container at a temperature below the melting temperature while constantly being mixed, and thereby at the same time is crystallized, dried and/or cleaned and/or the intrinsic viscosity thereof is increased.
