A fastening plug for mounting furniture hardware having an expandable sleeve into which an elongated shaft of an expander enters, the shaft having a head for rotating the expander relative to the sleeve. The elongated shaft of the expander has multiple expansion sections along the length of the shaft and which taper in the direction of the protruding end of the shaft. The central bore of the sleeve which receives the elongated shaft of the expander, is shaped so as to complement the shaft, and the position of the complementary, tapering expansion sections of the shaft is varied relative to the complementary tapered central bore sections in the sleeve when the expander is rotated relative to the expansion sleeve.

Door-related hinge member (26) having a cup part with flattened sides, which is to be driven into a mortise in the back of a door. A flange extending outward against the back of the door is integral with the rim of the cup part, and retaining members are provided at the flattened sides, which can be spread apart by means of a handle provided on the flange in order to drive them into the wall of the mortise. On the bottom of the flange one or more centering pins can be provided for engagement in holes adjacent the mortise. Each retaining member (52) reaches substantially across the height of the associated flat in the cup part and through an opening in the mounting flange, and can swing radially on the cup part. On the emergent upper end of each retaining member a lever arm is provided which extends outwardly over the mounting flange, and at its outer free end it engages the associated handles by means of which the lever arm can be turned from a position lying substantially on the flange to a second position raised away from the flange.

The present invention is a fitting for the adjustable-height mounting of drawers on the runner rails of drawer slides, which support them on the bottom. On the runner rail of each drawer slide a slider is provided with a bearing surface facing the drawer bottom, and can be shifted parallel to the runner rails by a given amount. The slides are inclined, however, such that the bearing surface of the slider will be substantially flush with the drawer bottom or even below the drawer bottom when the drawer is supported on the runner rail in the properly installed position. But in the other end position the slider is shifted upward by the amount desired for the adjustment.

A door fastening member of a furniture hinge having a hinge cup for installation sunk in a recess in the rear surface of a door leaf. The hinge cup has a fastening flange engaging the inner surface of the door leaf. Projecting from the underside of the fastening flange, spaced from the hinge cup, are offset fastening pegs which engage in associated bores in the door leaf and which may each be fixed in the associated bore by means of a fastening element which is rotatable relative to the fastening flange. Due to eccentric mounting of the rotatable fastening element, knife-like anchoring ribs provided on the fastening element of the fastening peg are movable out of a position of the bores.

Fastening plug (10) made of plastic for fastening in a corresponding bore, especially for fastening furniture hardware on furniture, with an elongate stem portion (14) which can be releasably fastened on the associated hardware piece, from whose outer circumferential surface a number of annular projections (16) offset lengthwise on the stem having a triangular cross section tapering outwardly, each forming a knife-edge-like holding burr (18). The outside diameter of the holding burr is greater than the diameter of the corresponding bore, while the stem portion (14) has between the first annular projection (16) on the hardware end and the end facing the hardware a neck (20) whose diameter is smaller than the diameter of the corresponding bore. A spacer ring (22) is provided which extends past the neck (20) when the fastening plug (10) is in the intended mounting position on the hardware and supports the bottom of the hardware, and which is removable from the fastening plug (10) which remains in the corresponding bore after the hardware has been released from the fastening plug.

The present invention relates to a furniture hinge having a wall-related part shaped as an elongated supporting arm which can be mounted for adjustment in at least two coordinate directions on an associated mounting plate disposed on the wall of a cabinet carcase. The supporting arm is mounted and fastened on the mounting plate by a mounting screw driven into the mounting plate and passing through a slot provided at the inside end with an enlarged pass-through opening in the web of the supporting arm. A threaded spindle is screwed in a tap in the web of the supporting arm, which is situated further out from the carcase interior than the slot. At the bottom end of the spindle, on a neck of smaller diameter, is a head of larger diameter. This head is inserted into an open-ended slot provided in the mounting plate, which clutches the sides of the head, securing it against lifting away from the mounting plate.

A furniture hinge (10) for hanging a door (12) on a cabinet carcase, whose door-related member (18) is configured as a hinge cup which can be set into a mortise (16) in the inside of the door (12), the hinge cup being composed of the actual cup part (20) lying within the mortise and a mounting flange (22) which can be placed on the area of the inside of the door adjoining the door mortise. In the mounting flange at least one slot (24) running at right angles to the adjacent edge of the door is provided for a mounting screw which can be driven into the door. The cup part (20) engaging in the mortise (16) is undersized with respect to the door mortise such that, when the mounting screw is loosened it can be shifted in the mortise by a given amount at right angles to the door edge. In the cup part (20) at least one spring (32) thrusting against the wall of the mortise (16) is provided, which urges the cup part (20) to a defined initial position within the mortise (16) when the mounting screw or screws (26) are loosened.

Furniture hinge for hanging a door on a cabinet carcase whose door-side front face is narrowed by a frame formed of stick-like frame members reaching inward at right angles from the side walls and at least partially overlapping the inside of the door in the closed position, the hinge having a hinge arm of sheet metal which has a fastening plate which can be placed on the free edge face of a member of the frame remote from the side wall, has a width substantially corresponding to the width of the edge face of the frame member, bears the actual arm section coupled by a linkage to the hinge part attached to the door, and is provided with a slot running in the longitudinal direction of the edge face of the frame member, the width of the slot being substantially equal to the diameter of the shaft of the fastening screw, and at least one tab being created on the back edge of the fastening plate pointing into the cabinet interior which is bent substantially at right angles against the cabinet-interior face of the frame member, and an opening for the entry of the fastening screw is provided in the fastening plate, leading into the longitudinal slot and permitting the introduction into the longitudinal slot of the shaft of the fastening screw pre-installed in the frame member as long as the head of the pre-installed fastening screw is at a distance from the edge face of the frame member that is at most equal to the height of the bent tabs.

A hinge housing for installation in an opening in a thin sheet wall of a door is provided. The hinge housing has a liner plate for installation along an underside thereof against an inside face of the wall, the liner plate having an opening which generally conforms to the opening in the wall, the liner plate having at least two first locking projections extending from the underside of the plate which can grip an outside face of the wall upon rotation of the lining plate. The hinge housing also has a fastening flange for installation against the upper side of the liner plate, the fastening flange having a cup portion and a flange portion extending radially from a rim of the cup portion, the outside perimeter of the cup portion generally conforming to the opening in the wall, such that when the fastening flange is installed against the liner plate, the flange portion covers the liner plate and the cup portion extends into the opening and through the wall. The fastening flange also has at least two second locking projections extending from the underside of the flange portion, the second locking projections corresponding in number and arrangement with the first locking projections, the second locking projections being engageable with the first locking projections upon rotation of the fastening flange to forcibly retain the first locking projections against the outside face of the wall.
