A gas metering valve for an internal combustion engine. The gas metering valve includes a housing in which a gas chamber is formed, which includes an inlet opening and an outlet opening. A movable valve element is situated in the gas chamber, which is movable by an electrical actuator against the force of a return spring and which cooperates with a valve seat for opening and closing the inlet opening. A blocking valve is situated between the valve element and the outlet opening, which opens in the flow direction to the outlet opening and blocks in the opposite flow direction.

Gas metering valve for internal combustion engines

The invention relates to a fuel injection nozzle for use in an internal combustion engine, having a nozzle body (), in which is formed a pressure chamber () fillable with fuel under high pressure and in which a longitudinally displaceable nozzle needle () is arranged, wherein the nozzle needle () has a sealing face () with which it interacts with a conical body seat () formed in the nozzle body () and thereby opens and closes the connection from the pressure chamber () to a blind hole (). The blind hole () forms a cylindrical section () directly adjoining the body seat () so that an inlet edge () is formed at the transition between the body seat () and the blind hole (). In the nozzle body () is formed at least one injection opening () which opens into the blind hole (). The cylindrical section of the blind hole () has a reduced diameter so that a shoulder () is formed in the blind hole (), wherein the at least one injection opening () opens into the blind hole () between the shoulder () and the inlet edge ().

Fuel injection nozzle

The invention relates to a fuel injector for internal combustion engines for injecting fuel at high pressure, comprising a pressure chamber formed in an injector body, in which pressure chamber a nozzle needle is arranged in a longitudinally movable manner, which nozzle needle has a cone region tapered in a combustion chamber direction and a pin region having a constant diameter dat a combustion-chamber end of the nozzle needle. The injector body has a substantially conical nozzle needle seat, from which a first injection opening extends, and a blind hole, which adjoins the nozzle needle seat on the combustion chamber side. The blind hole has a cylindrical segment, which has the diameter d, and a hole base, from which a second injection opening extends. The cone region of the nozzle needle interacts with the nozzle needle seat and thereby opens and closes the first injection opening and the second injection opening with respect to the pressure chamber. During a partial stroke of the nozzle needle, the first injection opening and the second injection opening are connected to each other by means of a throttle gap, which is formed in the blind hole between the pin region and the wall of the blind hole, and the throttle gap remains constant at least over the partial stroke of the nozzle needle.

Fuel injector

The invention relates to a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, having a nozzle needle () which is guided, such that it can perform a stroke movement, in a central bore () of a nozzle body () in order to open up or close off at least one injection opening (), wherein the nozzle needle () interacts, by means of an encircling sealing region () formed on the combustion-chamber-side end thereof, with a sealing seat () that runs conically and is formed on the combustion-chamber-side end of the nozzle body (). According to the invention, the sealing seat () that runs conically has an opening angle (&#x3b1;) of between 30&#xb0; and 50&#xb0;, preferably of between 40&#xb0; and 50&#xb0;.

Fuel injection valve

The invention relates to a fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines having a valve body in which a blind hole is formed, with at least one injection opening proceeding from said blind hole. A longitudinally displaceable needle in the valve body has a valve sealing face formed at its end which faces towards the blind hole. The valve sealing face is formed from one or more conical faces, and the valve needle interacting, by means of a body seat, with said valve sealing face to control a fuel flow to the at least one injection opening. A needle tip adjoining the valve sealing face dips into the blind hole when the valve needle bears against the body seat, the needle tip being curved in a concave fashion directly adjacent to the valve sealing face.
