A device and a method for specifically influencing the technological properties of individual regions of a sheet-like material are provided, including the following steps: a) fixing the sheet-like material or a pre-compacted material nonwoven or a material fibre cake on a workbench, b) placing at least one applicator on the upper side and/or the underside of the sheet-like material, the material nonwoven or the material fibre cake, c) specifically moving the at least one applicator on the upper side and/or the underside and pressing an improving medium into partial regions of the sheet-like material, the material nonwoven or the material fibre cake in a predetermined amount and under a predetermined pressure, d) optionally, subsequently pressing the pre-compacted material nonwoven or the material fibre cake to form a sheet of the desired thickness.

A paint application device, in particular suited for the application of water-dilutable paints, comprises a paint reservoir connected with a paint application device via a supply line. Further, a paint discharge device for returning excess paint from the area of the paint application device into paint reservoir is provided. For the adjustment or the maintenance of the viscosity of the paint, a humidification device is provided for increasing the air humidity in the area of the paint application device and/or in the paint reservoir.

Paint application device

A device and a method for specifically influencing the technological properties of individual regions of a sheet-like material are provided, including the following steps: a) fixing the sheet-like material or a pre-compacted material nonwoven or a material fiber cake on a workbench, b) placing at least one applicator on the upper side and/or the underside of the sheet-like material, the material nonwoven or the material fiber cake, c) specifically moving the at least one applicator on the upper side and/or the underside and pressing an improving medium into partial regions of the sheet-like material, the material nonwoven or the material fiber cake in a predetermined amount and under a predetermined pressure, d) optionally, subsequently pressing the pre-compacted material nonwoven or the material fiber cake to form a sheet of the desired thickness.

A drying device for drying coated, elongated work pieces in a continuous process including a transport device for transporting the work piece. For drying an edge or surface of the work piece, heat sources are arranged in a drying chamber. In a drying zone, drying vapor is generated during drying. The vapor is removed by an airflow. The airflow is supplied via a supply channel and fans. A controller is provided to control the fans.

Drying device

A varnishing head orientable toward a workpiece for a relative movement of a workpiece and application of a surface coating substance on a workpiece surface, the varnishing head comprising an application nozzle provided with a connection to a surface coating substance source, a suction nozzle provided with a suction connection, the application nozzle being formed as a slot nozzle adapted to face the workpiece surface with a small distance from it and having a mouth which is formed by a slot extending transversely to a movement direction, the suction nozzle being open at a distance from the application nozzle as considered in the movement direction in the workpiece.

Varnishing head

A coating device has a coating head for applying a coating strip of a flowable coating material on a workpiece surface and having an application nozzle and a suction nozzle located near one another, a holder, a movement unit through which the coating head is supported on the holder to be moveable in at least one direction, at least one sensor unit which sensors a position of the workpiece and adjusts the coating head, the movement unit for moving the coating head being oriented so that it presses the coating head at least in one direction against the workpiece, the sensor unit being formed as a mechanical contact sensor bringable in an engagement with the workpiece and fixedly connected with the coating head to have a limited movement.
