A vehicle roof is provided having a mobile roof element which can be moved by means of a drive carriage which is connected to the roof part and can be movably guided in a guide rail, a drive cable for moving the drive carriage, and a cable connection which connects the drive cable to the drive carriage. The cable connection may have a metal element. In one approach the metal element positively engages in a cable coil arranged on the drive cable.

Vehicle roof comprising a mobile roof element

A roof module for a vehicle roof, which can have a roof panel for closing an opening in the vehicle roof, a frame for mounting the Roof module onto the vehicle roof, a sealing which can be fixedly mounted to the frame for sealing engagement with the panel, and adjusting elements for adjusting the roof panel relative to the frame. The sealing can have a cover lip for covering the adjusting elements, wherein the cover lip can be bent away in a resilient manner for accessing the adjusting elements.

Sealing for a vehicle roof

A vehicle roof with a roof opening disposed within a fixed roof outer skin of a vehicle and a cover () to optionally close and at least partially open the roof opening. To at least partially open the roof opening, the cover can be both tilted out from a closed position at its rear edge and displaced in the driving direction to the rear. The cover has at least one locking lug () in the region of its leading edge () that engages, from below in a closed position of the cover, into a support element that is stiff in a direction perpendicular to the roof outer skin. Additionally, the cover is formed at its rear edge such that engagement from below under the lateral and rear areas of the roof opening does not occur in the closed position.

Vehicle roof

The invention relates to an openable vehicle roof which comprises at least one cover element () which is guided in lateral guiding rails (B), by means of which said roof opening can be selectively closed or at least partially opened, and an anti-blocking device which guides along the guiding rails (B). In order to offer active anti-blocking protection for vehicle passengers, the anti-blocking devices are formed, respectively, by a strip-shaped switching device () which interacts with respective guiding rail (B) and which is connected to the control element of a cover element drive.
