Railway vehicle

A rail vehicle includes a coupling disposed centrally in a front region of the rail vehicle. The coupling is mounted in a transversely extended crossmember, so that forces acting on the coupling are introduced through the crossmember into abutments which are supported on a front side of a car body of the rail vehicle. The crossmember is connected through at least one elastic energy absorption configuration to one of the abutments.

A passenger table for connection to a side wall of a rail vehicle and for orientation in the transverse direction of the rail vehicle, includes a side wall pillar for connection to the side wall and a table panel supported by the side wall pillar. A horizontal support bar extends from the side wall pillar and, at a distance from the side wall pillar, is connected to the table panel by plastically deformable connection elements in such a manner that, when the plastically deformable connection elements are deformed, the support bar is movable in a horizontal plane relative to the table panel.

A railway vehicle has a cover for a front coupling of the railway vehicle. The cover is formed of at least one displaceable front hatch that can be displaced by a drive between an opened and a closed end position. A displacement of the at least one front hatch is guided such that the displacement takes place along a circular segment path about a rotary axis.

A fastening arrangement for a wall-supported and floor-supported element of an interior fitting on the side wall of a rail vehicle is provided. A C-section rail is arranged on the side wall for receiving sliding blocks to which the element is releasably screwed. The element is provided with a shaped part which at least partially encompasses the C-section rail and extends in the longitudinal direction of the C-section rail. The shaped part is supported on at least both of its ends on the outside of the C-section rail for absorbing vertical loads and moments, and, for absorbing the longitudinal and transverse forces acting on the shaped part, the shaped part is connected to at least one sliding block which is arranged between both ends of the shaped part in the C-section rail.

A device connects a table for groups of seats arranged transversely with respect to the direction of travel to the side wall of a vehicle with an upright supporting structure disposed below the table top in the vicinity of the side wall and the lower end is fastened to the side wall and the upper end is fastened to the table top. The supporting structure for the table top is stable and reduces the risk of injury to passengers during collisions without any loss in comfort. The supporting structure has two flexurally rigid posts arranged upright at a distance from each other in the longitudinal direction and have buckling points spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the posts and have defined buckling axes which, when a force acting on the table is exceeded, permit an elastic yielding of the table in the direction of the force.

Device for connecting a table to the side wall of a vehicle

A high-voltage connection between two post insulators which can be moved relative to one another. In order to be able to implement such a high-voltage connection in the most compact form possible with regard to insulating air gaps, the high-voltage connection has a current conduction rod, which is surrounded by an insulating body and mounted at one end thereof on the one post insulator at an adjustable distance and at the other end thereof is held on the other post insulator. Outgoing current leads are connected to each end of the current conduction rod. An electric rail vehicle has at least two cars, each having a high-voltage line run in the roof and each having a post insulator on the roof in the area of the mutually facing ends of the cars. The high-voltage connection according to the invention is used in order to achieve an aerodynamically favorable design in the bridging area of the roof area of the cars.

A covering for a bogie of a rail vehicle lends the entire rail vehicle a low aerodynamic tractive resistance in the region of the bogie. The novel covering has a peripheral wall for surrounding the bogie and a fastening device for rotationally guiding the peripheral wall at the upper edge thereof on a superstructure of the rail vehicle. The covering is covered at the lower edge of the peripheral wall by an underbody-like end member that has fastening means for attaching the same to the bogie.

A device for transmitting the longitudinal forces of a bogie to the superstructure of a rail vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle with high tractive power. The device includes a transmission rod arranged in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and comprising two rod parts ( ), of which one rod part engages on a pivot point of the superstructure and the other rod part engages on a pivot point of the bogie frame. The two rod parts are connected at a joint which is capable of rotary motion about the transverse axis of the vehicle and is supported vertically relative to the bogie frame. The two rod parts and the joint capable of rotary motion are embodied in a buckle-resistant manner, the joint being connected to the bogie frame in a manner which allows force to be transmitted in both vertical directions.

An electric switchgear having an understructure without insulating gas is provided with a metal encapsulation for each phase which consists of two containers filled with insulating gas. A vacuum switching tube is vertically disposed in one container. The switching tube is connected on one end to cable terminations and on the other end, via a flexible ribbon and a bolt to a disconnect switch. The disconnect switch is located in the other container which also encloses a bus bar. The movable contact of the disconnect switch can be rotated into a mating contact at the bus bar, into a grounding contact, and into an intermediate position.

A circuit assembly as for an attenuation circuit is constructed upon a glass or ceramic substrate. T-element attenuators are formed on one face of the substrate by a film-circuit technique. Connections to electrodes of the T-element resistances are made by contact elements having clamping portions which engage an edge of the substrate to overlie the respective electrodes. One side of each contact element is extended from the clamping portion to form a contact arm having a forked end spaced adjacent the face of the substrate. The electrodes and contact elements are spaced apart longitudinally of the substrate and the contact arms alternate longitudinally between front and back faces thereof. Wire bridge connections are then readily made between successive arms on one or the other side of the substrate to turn on or off the individual T-element attenuator. Further, a connecting rod extends from each contact element normally to the edge of the substrate and parallel to the face of the substrate to engage a bore in a carrier plate upon assembly. Such rods connect to cross-pieces to facilitate assembly onto the substrate, one cross-piece for each set of contact elements having connecting arms on one side of the substrate.
