A method of producing an elastomeric optical conductor fiber composed of plastic includes drawing a fiber composed of a high-viscosity liquid reactive starting material. The starting material is added by way of a nozzle to a reaction apparatus, to which a liquid, which is inert towards the starting material, has been charged. At least partial crosslinking of the starting material takes place in the reaction apparatus. The elastomeric plastic of the optical conductor fiber is in particular a three-dimensionally crosslinked polyurethane.

In order to be able to reliably detect when an object is caught between two parts which move in relation to one another in a motor-driven closing mechanism, in particular in an electromotively driven window winder system, provision is made for the sensor system to have an optical pressure sensor as well as an electrical capacitive sensor in addition. The optical pressure sensor comprises a light-guiding element, a light source for injecting light into the light-guiding element and a light sensor for sensing the light which has been output. The electrical sensor comprises an electrode which is connected to a voltage source. Both sensors are each assigned to an evaluation unit for evaluating the respective signal.

In order to make it possible to produce a secure and permanent contact connection between an electrical conductor made from a soft material, in particular an aluminum conductor, and a contact element made from a harder material, the conductor is encapsulated at least partially in a contact region by an electrically conductive material. The electrically conductive material is harder than the soft material of the conductor. The electrically conductive material is applied with the aid of a thermal spraying process, with the result that there is a pressure-free electrical connection between the soft material and the sprayed-on material. Electrical contact is made with the contact element indirectly via the sprayed-on material. The thermal encapsulation by the spraying in the contact region makes it possible for a reliable electrical contact to be made even in the case of soft materials having a tendency towards cold flow.

A simple connection of a conventional electrical unit to the conductor tracks of an electric system, such as a motor vehicle electric system, is provided. The conductor tracks are directly applied to a support, for example, by flame spraying. A terminal adapter is placed, via a partial element, between the support, which is fitted with the conductor tracks, and the electrical unit to be connected. The conductor tracks are guided, inside the terminal adapter to a conventional electrical connection of the unit.

A method for producing a cable harness includes the step of applying an essentially strip-shaped base layer having a plastic thixotropic material to an assembly support. A plurality of essentially parallel adjacent wires are fixed to the base layer. A cover layer of plastic material is applied onto the base layer. The cover layer is subsequently treated so that the plastic material envelops the wires, adheres to the base layer and changes to a more solid consistency.
