The invention relates to a device for dispensing a liquid gas formulation in a metered manner, wherein the device is particularly suited for use as an injection system in nail driving devices and comprises a pressure-stable container having a flanged rim, to which a valve cover containing a dispensing valve is tightly fastened. The container is equipped with two separated chambers, one of which receives the liquid gas formulation and communicates with the dispensing valve and the other of which contains a driving medium under over-pressure. A piston, which can be moved in a sealing manner and which divides the container into the two chambers, is provided in the container. The driving medium is compressed air in combination with a small amount of liquid gas formulation. The flanged rim of the container is designed as an inner flanging. The piston is equipped with a one-way valve arrangement, which allows liquid gas formulation to overflow from the chamber containing the liquid gas formulation into the chamber containing the driving medium. The dispensing device is particularly inexpensive to design and can be cheaply produced and filled in a very simple manner.

Dispensing device for dispensing a liquid gas formulation in a metered manner and method for producing the dispensing device

In a method for the manufacture and/or filling of a two-chamber pressure pack comprising an outer container having a can wall, a bottom and a valve opening and of a bag having a bag bottom in the outer container for receiving a product, the outer container and bag enclose a space for receiving a gas. The space between outer container and bag is in this case filled with the gas prior to filling the bag with the product.

Method for the manufacture and/or filling of a two-chamber pressure pack

Double-walled container for pressure-tight dispensers, having a cup-shaped inside container and a one-piece outside container is disclosed. The neck attachment of the flask-like outside container is provided with an inverted zone by which an annular groove is formed inside the outside container and the inside container is adhesively secured within the groove. Also disclosed is a method for producing such a double-walled container which includes the steps of positioning the inside container into the cylindrical outside container, shaping the outside container at the upper portion into a flask-like shape without deforming the inside container, and securing the inside container into the groove formed by the deformation.

A pressurization pouch having a pressurization system therein activated by the application of a vacuum underpressure to the outside surfaces of the pouch is inserted into a dispensing container through an opening in a lid portion of the container. Upon the sealing of the container by the attachment of a valve member to the container lid at the opening thereof, a vacuum generator is coupled to the valve member to generate negative pressure inside the dispensing container, thereby causing the pouch to expand under the pressure of a predetermined amount of air disposed therein. Upon that initial expansion, the pressurization pouch is further inflated owing to the action of the pressurization system. Upon complete inflation of the pressurization pouch, the pouch forms a liner in the dispensing container. A flowable product is then injected into the dispensing container through the valve member. The pouch comprises a pair of compartments releasably sealed and separated from one another by a seam having a sharp point formed by a pair of straight-line seam segments joining one another at an acute angle.

Method for prepressurizing dispensing container and for filling

An inner container having a dispensing valve is situated within a flexible sack which in turn is situated within an outer container having a cover and a dispensing valve. The sack contains one package component and the inner container contains the other package component and a propellant. A further propellant is situated outside of the sack within the outer container. The inner dispensing valve is constructed as a dosage valve and issues into the interior of the outer dispensing valve. The latter is kinematically coupled with the inner dispensing valve and possesses a blocking system which blocks its interior relative to the interior of the sack when the outer dispensing valve is open. The particular construction and the flow-related coupling of both dispensing valves permits a defined dosed dispensing of both package components with a defined mixture ratio.

Two-compartment dosing package

A conventional pressurized gas container in the form of a standard aerosol container is fastened to a commercially available standard cartridge having a movable piston by means of an adapter. The adapter of the dispensing container contains an actuating member for the valve of the pressurized gas container and a pressure exhaust or venting orifice which is in flow communication with a pressure chamber situated between the piston and the adaptor and such pressure venting orifice is obturatable by the finger of an operator in service. The dispensing container is particularly simple in design and fulfills all practical requirements in service and manipulation.

Dispensing container for highly viscous package component and explusion

The package comprises a commercially available outer standard aerosol container equipped with a standard dispensing valve and a likewise commercially available inner standard aerosol container equipped with a standard dispensing valve. The inner container is arranged substantially coaxially with respect to the outer container, and such inner container is at a greater pressure than the outer container. Both of the dispensing valves of both containers are kinematically coupled in a manner such that upon normal actuation of the outer dispensing valve there is opened the inner dispensing valve. There are provided, for instance, latching cams or the like which retain the inner dispensing valve in its open position. After actuating the outer valve and thus also the inner valve the contents of the inner container empty into the outer container and admix with its contents. The mixture then can be removed in conventional fashion by means of the outer dispensing valve. Apart from the functional reliability and simplicity in handling of the two-compartment package such also exhibits an extremely simple construction, which particularly is realized by virtue of the fact that the package can be fabricated by extensively using standard components.

Two-compartment package

An inner container (11) is located within an outer container (1) which has a dispensing valve (3). The inner container itself contains an axially movable plunger (24) which in the normal position seals the internal chamber of the container from the outlet orifices (22) located at the lower end of the container. The inner container (11) is furthermore provided with a non-return valve (18) through which its internal chamber can be subjected to a compressed gas in the same way as the internal chamber of the outer container. To mix the packaged material components (A, B) which are present in the outer container (1) and in the inner container (11), the compressed gas present in the outer container is released, as a result of which the excess pressure resulting in the inner container pushes the plunger (24) downwards, so that the outlet orifices (22) are freed, and the packaged material component (B) is expelled from the inner container (11) into the outer container (1). The pack is of simple construction and easy to handle, and permits fully satisfactory mixing of the two components of the packaged material.
