A clasp-like sheet metal nut for automatic fitting onto a support plate comprising a threaded leg, which has a thread profile, and a clasp leg, which is connected to said threaded leg via a cross-piece and is provided with a screw through-hole, the two legs running at an angle toward each other in the direction of their free ends and the free end of the threaded leg having an insertion plate protruding obliquely away from the clasp leg, wherein laterally outward-protruding guide fins are formed on one of the two legs.

Clasp-like sheet metal nut

A clip-like, C-shaped sheet-metal nut and an assembly device therefor, the nut having a thread leg with an embossed thread portion and a clip leg having a through hole, with the forward end of the thread leg having an upwardly and forwardly inclined insertion plate. A pair of guide webs are integrally formed on the two lateral edges of the thread leg that extend upwardly at right angles to the leg with the upper edges of the webs protruding above the insertion plate and running parallel to the clip leg and with their side surfaces being in a line with the lateral edges of the clip leg to provide a substantially outer rectangular perimeter to the nut.

Assembly device for pressing C-shaped sheet metal nut onto a plate

A clip-like, C-shaped sheet-metal nut and an assembly device therefor, the nut having a thread leg with an embossed thread portion and a clip leg having a through hole, with the forward end of the thread leg having an upwardly and forwardly inclined insertion plate. C-shaped sheet-metal nut

The disclosure concerns a support for a sun visor. The support includes a flat support member and a clamping spring which wraps around the support shaft for the sun visor at a cutout in the flat support member. The spring extends from a web wrapped around the mounting shaft and has arms extending past the opposite surfaces of the support member to beneath the support member. One arm of the clamping spring terminates in a hook defined by two successive bends. The other arm terminates in an inclined extension, and the extension terminates at a hooking edge at the bend in the second arm defining the extension. The hook of the first arm hooks behind the hooking edge of the second arm. The extension on the second arm defines a bevel for guiding the hook of the first arm behind the hooking edge. The hooking edge is defined in a window cut into the extension of the second arm.

Support for sun visors

A sun visor for a motor vehicle comprises a mounting bracket having a shaft projecting therefrom. A visor panel is rotatably mounted on the shaft by a connector. A clip connected to the visor panel comprises a spring leaf which exerts a radial force on the shaft to resist rotation and a radial ridge formation which engages with a complementary groove formation on the shaft to resist axial movement of the panel along the shaft thereby avoiding the need for further fasteners.

Sun visor

A clamp for fastening trim or protective strips on support surfaces which includes a single strip of sheet metal formed to three spaced, superposed legs, the outer legs being connected by a bridge, and the middle leg bent inwardly from the free end of the lower outer leg and extending toward the bridge and between the outer legs. The lower leg and bridge are slotted to slide or plug onto a shank of a T-shaped stud, the lower and middle leg clamping the top and bottom of the head of the stud. The upper and middle legs clamp a projection on the trim strip.
