A clamp, comprising a guide rail, a fixed jaw, which is arranged on the guide rail, a sliding jaw, which is displaceable on the guide rail, and at least one spindle, which is arranged displaceably on the sliding jaw and on which there is arranged or formed a pressure piece, with an actuation device, which is spaced from the at least one spindle and which actuable by an operator in order to control a displacement movement of the at least one spindle, with a force application device, which acts on the at least one spindle and by means of which a displacement movement of the at least one spindle is achievable, and with a transmission device, which connects the actuation device and the force application device.

Clamp and method for operating a clamp

A support is provided, comprising a first bar with a first abutment element, a second bar with a second abutment element, and a guiding device by which the first bar is displaceably guided on the second bar. An actuating device which acts on the first bar and which comprises an actuating element is arranged on the second bar. A displacement of the first bar in a first direction of displacement can be initiated by actuation of the actuating element. The first direction of displacement is a direction of increase in distance between the first abutment element and the second abutment element. The actuating device comprises a blocking device which blocks a displacement of the first bar in relation to the second bar in a second direction of displacement, which is opposite the first direction of displacement, at least when no active releasing action occurs at the blocking device.

A clamping tool is provided which includes a base, a clamping arm articulated to the base for pivotal movement about a first pivot axis, a handle articulated to the clamping arm or base for pivotal movement about a second pivot axis, a bridge element articulated to the handle or the clamping arm for pivotal movement about a third pivot axis, a first wedge element having a first wedge surface, and a second wedge element having a second wedge surface facing towards the first wedge surface. In a first positional range of the handle, the wedge surfaces are spaced apart. In a second positional range of the handle, the second wedge surface is supported on the first wedge surface, displacement of the first wedge element driving a displacement of the second wedge element. The bridge element is articulated to the first wedge element for pivotal movement about a fourth pivot axis.

An abutment device, in particular for laying floor elements, is proposed, comprising a first abutment element with a first abutment face and a second abutment face, which is oriented transversely to the first abutment face, and a second abutment element with a third abutment face, which is oriented transversely to the first abutment face, and which second abutment element is slidingly displaceably guided in a fixable manner on the first abutment element, a spacing between the first abutment face and the third abutment face being fixably adjustable, the first abutment element, on a side opposite to the first abutment face, having a recess, which is limited by an edge and in which the second abutment element is arranged.

A clamp is provided, having a slide rail, a fixed arm fastened to the slide rail and on which a first abutment surface for a workpiece is arranged, a sliding arm displaceable on the slide rail, and a housing arrangement, on which are held a first bearing device and a second bearing device, by means of which the housing arrangement is guided on the slide rail. The sliding arm is positioned between the first and second bearing devices. A second abutment surface for a workpiece is arranged on the housing arrangement and faces the first abutment surface. A force application device is held on the sliding arm and acts on a pressure piece held on the housing arrangement. The housing arrangement has a first housing part with a housing interior having an opening. The sliding arm is brought into the housing interior through the opening during production of the clamp.

A device for a clamping tool for applying pressure to a workpiece is provided, comprising a contacting area for a workpiece, a holding head locating space for a holding head of the clamping tool, and at least one locking element for fixing the holding head in the holding head locating space, which said locking element is arranged in a locking element locating space and must be passed through by the holding head, wherein the at least one locking element and the locking element locating space are formed in such a manner that the amount of force required to pass through the at least one locking element in the direction of insertion of the holding head into the holding head locating space is smaller than the amount of force required to pass therethrough in the direction of extraction of the holding head from the holding head locating space.

In order to improve a clamping device, in particular for clamping workpieces on a machine table, comprising a housing securable in position on a support surface of a carrier by means of an anchoring element, a clamping element movable relative to the housing and having a clamping arm projecting from the housing and a clamping spindle rotatably mounted on the housing for moving the clamping element, such that the housing can be secured in place on the support surface in as simple a manner as possible, it is suggested that a fastening element supported on the housing be movable relative to the housing from a first position into a second position for securing the housing in position, that in the first position the housing be detachable from the support surface and that in the second position the fastening element secure the housing in position on the support surface by acting on the anchoring element with a fastening force.
