A wheeled walker including a front wheel pair viewed in a driving direction and a rear wheel pair viewed in the driving direction; a frame including rearward oriented struts, wherein each of the rearward oriented struts supports a rear wheel of the rear wheel pair; a platform attached at the wheeled walker, wherein the platform includes at least one platform wheel and a standing platform for a person using the walker; and an electric drive that is configured to move the wheeled walker forward in the driving direction, wherein the wheeled walker includes a coupling device that attaches the platform at the wheeled walker and transfers pull forces and push forces between the wheeled walker and the platform, wherein the coupling device is arranged in an intersection portion of a scissor linkage that is associated with the wheeled walker.

Electrically driven wheeled walker

A wheeled walker including a first wheel pair that is in front in a driving direction and a second wheel pair that is behind in the driving direction; a frame that includes struts that are oriented backward against the driving direction wherein each of the struts supports a rear wheel of the second wheel pair; a platform that is attached at the wheeled walker and that includes at least one wheel and a standing surface for a person using the wheeled walker; and an electric motor drive that is configured to propel the wheeled walker at least in the driving direction, wherein the standing surface of the platform is arranged between the wheels of the second wheel pair.

An elastic shaft coupling including a first circular cylindrical shaft hub including first claws distributed over an outer circumference of the first shaft hub and offset from one another; and a second circular cylindrical shaft hub including second claws distributed over an outer circumference of the second shaft hub and offset from one another, wherein the first claws and the second claws engage one another through protruding into respective intermediary spaces, wherein an elastic coupling element is respectively arranged between adjacent first claws and second claws, wherein at least an outer circular cylindrical circumferential surface of a shaft hub is provided with mounting surfaces for the claws, wherein the outer circumferential surface is configured in a portion of the mounting surfaces so that it differs from the circular cylindrical contour and the claws supported by the hub contact the hub side mounting surfaces in a form locking manner.

Elastic shaft coupling

A coupling element for connection between a drive member and a driven member for transmitting torque has at least two similar part-circularly arcuate coupling bodies each formed by an arcuate row of elastomeric segments alternating with and vulcanized to rigid elasticity-limiting elements. The rows terminate at end parts formed with axially or radially throughgoing holes for attachment to the drive and driven members. A hinge assembly allows movement of the part-circular coupling bodies between a closed position forming a closed circle centered on an axis and an open position.

Coupling with an annular coupling body

A shaft coupling has an input element adapted to be rotationally driven about an axis, an output element rotatable about the axis adjacent and limitedly relative to the input element, and an intermediate element rotatable about the axis adjacent and limitedly relative to both the input element and the output element. A first coupling assembly with progressive resistance to torque is fixed between one of the input and output elements and the intermediate element. A second coupling assembly with linear resistance to torque is fixed between the other of the input and output elements and the intermediate element such that torque is transmitted between the input and output elements through the coupling elements in series with each other in a single stage.

Torsion-elastic shaft coupling

A coupling connects a drive part with a driven part. One of the parts are formed with axially extending coupling formations. The coupling has a one-piece plastic body formed with a central hub formed with axially extending coupling formations complementary to the formations of the one part and fitted axially to the one part and with a plurality of connection regions projecting radially from the hub securable to the other of the parts. Each of the connection regions is formed with an axially throughgoing hole. The coupling further has respective metallic elements fitted in the holes and each fixed to the other part. These elements fit with play in the respective holes. Formations on the elements and on the connection regions secure the elements in the connection regions against displacement out of the connection regions in either of two axially opposite directions prior to fixing of the elements to the other part.

Rotary coupling

A coupling for transmitting torque between a driving element and a driven element, one of which is rotatable about an axis an formed with an annular array or mounting holes centered on the axis, has an elastomeric ring centered on the axis and having a dished face concave toward and directed axially at one of the elements and an opposite generally planar face directed axially at the other of the elements. Respective face plates conform and are vulcanized to the faces. Formations serve for connecting the face plate of the planar face directly to the other element. An annular and thin coupling disk centered on the axis has an outer periphery and an inner periphery and an inner face turned toward the elastomeric ring and an outer face turned away therefrom. Bolts secure the disk outer periphery directly to an outer edge of the face plate of the dished face.

Flexible shaft coupling

An elastic shaft coupling for interconnecting a driving member and a driven member for joint rotation of the members about a generally common axis has an annular coupling element of elastic material between the driving and driven members and a plurality of angularly spaced metal bodies incorporated in the coupling element and provided with respective bores. Fastening screws extend through the bores and are threaded into the members so that the members are rotationally interconnected by the coupling element. One of the metal bodies is formed of two separate segments separated by a throughgoing split and also form an annular and axially open groove extending across the split. The coupling element can be spread at the split. A ring extends angularly across the split and fitted to and recessed in the groove.

An elastic shaft coupling with high torsional elasticity having segments formed by steel sheet segment plates vulcanized to an elastomeric body and in which blocking elements bridge the radial gaps of the segments of each coupling half so as to brace the plate segments against axial deformation. All of the elastomeric bodies are vulcanized to the segments or to rings from which segments are divided in a common vulcanization procedure.

Shaft coupling with high torsional elasticity

A coupling has an inner ring centered on an axis, an outer ring surrounding and generally coaxial with the inner ring, and an intermediate ring generally coaxial with and between the inner ring and outer ring. A pair of mainly angularly extending, flexible, and parallel inner links have inner ends attached at respective locations to an outer periphery of the inner ring and outer ends attached at respective locations to an inner periphery of the intermediate ring, and a pair of mainly angularly extending, flexible, and parallel outer links have inner ends attached at respective locations to an outer periphery of the intermediate ring and outer ends attached at respective locations to an inner periphery of the outer ring. The outer links extend transversely of the inner links, and the rings and links are unitarily formed with one another.

One-piece coupling disk

A coupling has a pair of elastomeric rings centered on a common axis and having generally frustoconical inner faces confronting each other and generally planar outer faces extending generally perpendicular to the axis and directed oppositely away from each other. Respective generally planar, rigid, and annular outer plates centered on the axis are bonded to the outer faces. A metallic center body having frustoconical outer faces bonded to the ring inner faces is formed with a plurality of radially throughgoing center passages.

Resilient shaft coupling

A coupling has an inner member centered on and rotatable about an axis A and formed with a plurality of radially outwardly projecting short inner teeth and a radially outwardly projecting long tooth together defining a plurality of radially outwardly open pockets. The outer end of the long inner tooth defines an orbit centered on the axis and the outer ends of the short inner teeth lie radially inward of this orbit. An outer member coaxially surrounding the inner member is formed with a plurality of radially inwardly projecting short outer teeth and a radially inwardly projecting long outer tooth together defining a plurality of radially inwardly open pockets. The long teeth are angularly juxtaposed with each other and the inwardly open pockets each confront a respective one of the outwardly open pockets. The outer end of the long outer tooth defining an orbit centered on the axis and spaced inward of the orbit of the outer long tooth such that on relative rotation of the members and the long teeth cannot angularly pass each other. The outer ends of the short outer teeth lie radially outward of both orbits. Respective elastomeric bodies each engaged in a respective one of the inner pockets and the respective outer pocket angularly couple the members to each other.

To facilitate assembly of a shaft coupling, a sleeve is provided with a polygon configuration either on the hub or in the polygonal opening of the drive side flange and is axially slidable in the matching polygon. Where the sleeve surrounds the hub, it is braced inwardly by the elastically compressible bodies between the sleeve the outer polygon. Where the sleeve fits against the outer polygon, it forms a cage retaining the elastically compressible bodies against a hub on the shaft for insertion into the opening in the flange.

A two-stage shaft coupling has inner elastomeric bodies between polygonal surfaces of a hub and an opening in the flange and outer coupling members which come into play subsequently in windows elongated in the direction of rotation and spaced around the axis in the flange. The two sets of coupling elements are not axially offset to provide a relatively flat shaft coupling.

Shaft coupling

The shaft coupling has a pair of parallel sheetmetal membranes which are fixed together at their outer periphery and at their inner peripheries and are connected by respective sets of connectors to a hub and a formation which can be connected to another shaft. The connectors can include clamping bushes which have their heads or shoulders between the membrane and are engaged by clamping screws extending into the bushes from the exterior so that between the membranes, only the thickness of a shoulder is provided along the inner periphery. A highly compact shaft coupling can be obtained in terms of axial dimensions.
