A hydraulic system has two hydraulic circuits, each with a pressure generating unit acting on an actuator unit. The generating units are slot-controlled radial piston pumps and form a pump assembly with a single common pump support and single common rotor. The rotor is rotatable on a free protruding section of a common support hub and has piston-receiving bores on axially offset planes. The hub has two first and two second fluid bores. The first bores communicate with first pump connections and first control openings on the hub on a first plane, and the second fluid bores communicate with second pump connections and second control openings on the hub on a second plane. A first and a second adjustment frame, each having an eccentric ring and acting on the pump pistons, are disposed on respective planes perpendicular to the main axis and independently guided in a linearly movable manner.

Hydraulic system

In a motor vehicle chassis, at least one wheel suspension, which comprises a spring in the form of a coil spring, has associated therewith a hydraulic height adjustment device having a cylinder-piston arrangement which acts on a base point of the coil spring. The cylinder-piston arrangement can be supplied by a decentral hydraulic aggregate which is associated with the relevant wheel and comprises a storage container for hydraulic fluid and a hydraulic pump driven by an electric motor. At least the electric motor of the hydraulic aggregate is situated within the coil spring.

Motor vehicle chassis

A hydraulic system, especially in a high-pressure application, comprises a pressurized-fluid tank, a pressurized-fluid pump driven by a drive unit, at least one hydraulic load that can be pressurized thereby and a control and/or distribution unit connected fluidically between the pressurized-fluid pump and the load. This unit is provided with a housing and a core received therein and connected rigidly with the housing, which core bears with part of its surface in the region of a common, closed, especially cylindrical joint face with the housing on a corresponding inside face of a housing opening. Surface groove-like flow ducts are provided on the core and/or the housing in the region of the joint face, and the pressurized-fluid pump is directly built onto the control and/or distribution unit in the region of a free end face of the core.

A hydraulic circuit for actuation of a hydraulic working cylinder () having a one-sided piston rod (), comprising a reversible pump () whereby both sides of said pump are connected via a supply line () and a first two-way valve () to the tank () containing hydraulic medium and through releasable control check valves () to the working cylinder (). Both sides of the arrangement are further connected respectively to a hydraulic closeable valve () through a discharge line () and also to the tank () through a replenishing suction line () having a corresponding suction valve (). Each of said hydraulic closeable valves () is controlled by the pump () through a second two-way valve (). The discharge line (or) of one side of the working cylinder () is connected to the respective discharge line (or) and/or replenishing suction line (or) at the opposite side of the working cylinder (), whereby the connected lines are connected to the tank () through an arrangement () comprising a check valve () blocking in the direction of the tank () and well as a pressurizing valve () opening in the direction of the tank () to ensure through simple means the complete filling of the system with hydraulic medium even during manual operation.

Hydraulic circuit for actuation of a hydraulic working cylinder

A double-action hydraulic cylinder ( ) is provided with an axially slidable piston between a front cover and a rear cover, whereby the piston may be coupled to an extreme load through a piston rod ( ) and whereby the piston may be biased via connections ( ) for a hydraulic medium at both sides with the hydraulic medium from an extreme pressure source. The connections ( ) are attached to the cylinder barrel ( ) by means of soldered joints to achieve a good surface finish and thereby also an optically appealing appearance together with a reliable mounting of the pressure connections.

Hydraulic cylinder

An actuation arrangement for displaced components on vehicles, particularly trunk lids, convertible tops, engine hoods or the like, includes at least one supply line for the pressurized medium and one essentially non-pressure connection line to a reservoir for the working medium or a pump arrangement being functionally of the same kind, at least one preferably hydraulic working cylinder, and at least one control valve controlling the supply of a working medium in at least one working chamber of the working cylinder. To make possible a hydraulic movement of the vehicle component as well as a purely manual actuation in any direction without detrimental influence to a subsequent actuation or other measures, except for the on- and off switching of the energy supply of the hydraulic system, the control valve ( ) may be electrically operated, at least one of the working chambers of at least one working cylinder ( ) may be connected alternatively via a control valve ( ) with a supply line ( ), or the working chamber may be connected to a connection line while being without electric power, and that an overflow line ( ) is provided between the working chambers of the working cylinders ( ) whereby the overflow line ( ) allows counter-movements of the displaced component, and whereby an open non-energized valve ( ) is inserted in the overflow line ( ).

Actuation arrangement for displaceable components on vehicles

In an hydraulic operating arrangement the working chambers ( ) of a double-acting working cylinder ( ) are connected respectively by way of one reciprocally unlockable check valve ( ) with respectively one side of a reversible pressure medium source ( ). The respective working chamber ( ) under pressure is connected with a joint, controllable proportional pressure regulating valve ( ) for pressure control. On its exit side the proportional pressure regulating valve is connected with the pressure medium lines ( ) by way of respectively one check valve ( ) that opens in the direction of the pressure medium lines ( ), in particular between the corresponding unlockable check valves ( ) and the respectively belonging working chamber ( ) of the working cylinder ( ). This way the system pressure is easily controlled by way of the proportional pressure regulating valve, and the pressure medium that is directed away is returned from the exit side of the proportional pressure regulating valve ( ) directly to the pressure medium cycle and to the aspirating side of the working cylinder, thus making a simple apparatus and safe operation possible.

Hydraulic operating arrangement

An actuation arrangement for movable components on vehicles, particularly for trunk lids or hoods, doors, vehicle tops and top covers, including at least one hydraulic cylinder ( ) pivotably coupled to a cylindrical pivot pin ( ) on the vehicle and/or on the movable vehicle component, and having at least one line ( ) for the pressure medium in at least one working chamber ( ) of the hydraulic cylinder. Actuation arrangement for movable components on vehicles

A hydraulic actuation arrangement including a double-action working cylinder whose working chambers are in communication via a mutually unseatable check valve with one side of a reversible pressure medium source, respectively, whereby each working chamber is connected to a pressure medium reservoir by a pressure-relief valve or pressurizing valve, and at least one working chamber is furthermore connected to the pressure medium reservoir via an additional pressurizing valve. When an additional pressurizing valve is provided with two different pressure threshold values, the manual force used in emergency operation is therefore clearly reduced after introduction of the manual movement whereby these force levels for both movement directions may be selected independently from the maximum system pressure. A two-stage pressurizing valve includes a flow-through opening in the passage that may be blocked by the valve element whereby the surface of the flow-through opening is smaller than the cross section surface of the valve element.

Hydraulic actuation arrangement

Arrangement for hydraulic actuation of a movable component on a vehicle

The invention relates to an operational arrangement for movable parts on vehicles, especially for hatches, movable roofs and the like. The invention provides for the automatic opening of the hatch or roof by a drive unit. The invention is characterized by placement of a drive mechanism within the vehicle, obviating the need for special coating of the drive mechanism, with transfer of forces from the interior to the exterior of the vehicle through a four joint hinge including a pivot pin which passes through the body of the vehicle and is operatively connected to the drive mechanism and the movable part.

Operational arrangement for movable parts on vehicles

An operating arrangement for movable parts on motor vehicles, especially for trunk lids, folding tops and the like, consists of at least one hydraulic cylinder with a piston rod as the driving means which acts on the movable part either directly or indirectly, e.g., via a hinge, and at least one pump arrangement (,through,) mounted on the hydraulic cylinder with a tank, motor, and the like. To create a compact operating arrangement which can be adapted easily and quickly to the given requirements in each case and can also be serviced easily and repaired by replacing individual components, the operating arrangement according to this invention is characterized in that the hydraulic cylinder and the pump arrangement (,through,) are two separate parts combined into one unit by a detachable connection, with at least one direct, tubeless flange connection being provided between the pump arrangement and the hydraulic cylinder connecting the pump to at least one duct in the pump arrangement (,through,) and at least one duct in an end piece of the hydraulic cylinder which leads to one of its working chambers.

Operating arrangement

A motor-driven radial piston pump assembly has its radial piston pump supported by a base section on one side thereof which likewise supports an electric motor for powering the pump which is supported on that same side coaxially. The electric motor and a hydraulic tank are directly connected to the base section, the motor being surrounded by a cylindrical-shaped motor housing forming an inner wall of the tank and being sealingly connected to the base section, the motor housing being closed by a cover on its outer end opposite the pump. Such arrangement is compact in that the electric motor is simply positioned directly on the base section and is almost completely surrounded by the hydraulic tank such that the separate motor housing of the electric motor can be of simple and light weight construction.

Electric motor/radial pump assembly

An apparatus for hydraulically operating a rear cover, covering top or the like (1) on a vehicle, with at least one double-acting hydraulic working cylinder (3), which, on the one hand, is connected to the vehicle and, on the other hand, to the covering top, includes working chambers (8, 9) in connection with each one side of a switched pressure source (12) via one check valve (10, 11) each, wherein both of the check valves have an mutually releasing device and each of the working chambers parallel with respect to the check valves is kept via a pre-stress valve (15, 16), which steers into the tank, at a specified pressure level. To realize, in a simple and safe way, a passive wedging protection, in at least one connection line (4, 5) to the working cylinder (3), a line (22) enters the tank (17), in which a proportional pressure valve (23) is inserted which is controlled by the control electronics and is equal to the exact pressure that is necessary for the movement of the covering top (1) or the like.
