A trigger assembly for a fire arm including a breechblock moving between a base position and a charging position. The trigger assembly includes a catch lever moving between a resting position and a catch position. The trigger assembly includes a trigger element moving between a non-actuation and an actuation position to transfer the catch lever from the catch position into the resting position, and a release element moving between a hold position and a release position for releasing the catch lever. The release element is transferred from the hold position into the release position by the breechblock moving toward the charging position. The release element pivots about a release-element axis movable relative to the trigger element so the release element in the non-actuation position moves out of a movement space of the breechblock when the trigger is secured via a breechblock moving towards the base position.

Trigger assembly for a fire arm

A sighting device is provided for a grenade launcher of a firearm which includes an automatic weapon and a grenade launcher. The sighting device can be attached to either side of the firearm to facilitate left-handed or right-handed shooting. The sighting device includes a front sight and a rear sight. Each of the front and rear sights are mounted for pivoting movement between a resting or storage position and a sighting position.

Sighting device for a grenade launcher mounted on a firearm

An attachable grenade launcher is disclosed for installation on a rifle. The launcher has a grenade launching barrel that is pivotable about a stationary pin located near a muzzle of the barrel. The launcher also has a breech housing and a trigger assembly carried by the breech housing. The trigger assembly has a trigger and an impact plate. The launcher has a connection piece with a longitudinal slot. Th connection piece is integrally bound to the breech housing and carries the stationary pin. The connection piece circumferentially encapsulates the grenade launching barrel over at least a part of its length in such a manner that permits the grenade launching barrel to pivot about the stationary pin between a swung out position and a non-swung out position.
