A housing for an electric machine includes a substantially cup-shaped outer housing having a first base portion and a first tubular portion adjoining the base portion. An inner housing, which has a substantially cup-shaped form, is arranged in the outer housing and has a second base portion and a second tubular portion adjoining the base portion. A cover is connected or connectable to the outer housing and/or the inner housing. At least one cooling channel is formed between the first tubular portion and the second tubular portion. A pocket is formed in the first base portion and forms a first cavity together with the second base portion, and a second cavity is formed in the cover. The first cavity is fluidically connected to the cooling channel via a first bore and the second cavity is fluidically connected to the cooling channel via a second bore.

A protective covering for a shaft output of a transfer gearbox, comprising a solid, inelastic protective covering body, wherein the protective covering body has substantially the form of a frustoconical casing in order to surround a shaft in the region of the shaft output, having a first opening at a first axial end and a second opening at a second axial end, situated opposite from the first end, of the protective covering body, wherein the first opening is larger than the second opening, wherein the second opening is formed to surround the shaft, wherein, in the region of the first opening, a flange portion, lying at the top in the installed position, of the protective covering body is formed to be fastened to a housing of the transfer gearbox, wherein, in the region of the first opening, a portion, lying at the bottom in the installed position, of the protective covering body is formed to provide an outflow opening when the flange portion is fastened to the housing of the transfer gearbox.

A power transmission unit having an input section and an output section and a hydraulic clutch which depends on the rotational speed difference, in which unit a hydrostatic displacement machine (,) generates a pressure on the occurrence of a rotational speed difference between the input section (,) and the output section (,), which pressure causes a reduction in the rotational speed difference. The displacement machine consists of parts (,) respectively drive-connected to the input section and the output section and one of the sections (,) forms a housing (,) containing the displacement machine, the displacement machine drawing in working fluid from a suction space. In order to prevent sealing problems and pressure build-up not due to foaming, the suction space (,) is formed by a shell (,) surrounding the housing (,) and firmly connected to the latter in a fluid-tight manner, which shell is in fluid connection with the inside of the housing (,), and the suction space and the inside of the housing are completely filled with working fluid. The suction space (,) can be connected to a chamber (,) which is partially bounded by a flexible wall (,). The fluid filling can be under positive pressure.
