The invention relates to a device () for setting a connecting element () with a top-side drive structure (), comprising a feed device () for applying an axial force, a rotary spindle () and a drive bit () connected to same, which has drive structures () arranged circumferentially and at the end in a setting direction (S) in order to interlockingly cause the connecting element () to rotate, wherein the drive bit () has an axial through-opening, and the device also comprises a suction unit () with which air can be suctioned out at the end side of the drive bit ().

The invention relates to a joining unit () for an articulated arm robot () for joining a component () with a joining element () by applying an axial force. The joining unit () comprises a base element () for connecting to an articulated arm robot (). The base element () is connected to an advancing unit (), which can be moved relative to the base element () in an axial direction in and against a setting direction. The advancing unit () is connected to a setting device (), which can be moved together with the advancing unit (). Furthermore, a pressure piece () mounted for movement relative to the advancing unit () in and against the setting direction is connected to the advancing unit () by means of a coupling unit (). The invention is distinguished in that the coupling unit () comprises a blocking unit (), which, starting from a predefined axial blocking position, prevents motion of the pressure piece () relative to the advancing unit () against the setting direction so long as the advancing force is less than the set blocking force. The blocking unit comprises a release device (), by means of which the relative motion of the pressure piece () against the setting direction is enabled.

The invention relates to an apparatus for aligning fasteners having radially symmetrical polygonal heads in a device for feeding these fasteners to a processing station. A tubular piece having axially running grooves in its interior is provided in a feed channel for the fasteners, the number of these grooves corresponding to the number of edges on the heads of the fasteners, and the diameter of the groove corners on the inlet side of the tubular piece being greater than the width across the corners of the polygonal heads, the grooves tapering from a large width to a narrow width in the transport direction in such a way that fasteners entering the tubular piece are captured with a great clearance in relation to the grooves and leave the tubular piece with narrow clearance and therefore in the aligned position.
