The invention relates to a gas piston for a weapon, which is characterized by a spring introduced in the gas piston and a plunger, which engages on one end of the spring, wherein the spring is supported by the other end at the end of the gas piston opposite the plunger. This gas piston can be a component of a gas piston assembly having a counter piston, which is for use in a weapon. The gas piston or the plunger is supported e.g. on the weapon housing. With the special construction of the gas piston or the gas piston assembly formed with same, the gas piston can be transferred from a working position into a resting position within a weapon housing of the weapon.

A projectile with a projectile casing and at least one pyrotechnic charge incorporated in the projectile casing is proposed, wherein the projectile has an open projectile base with a destructible membrane and the pyrotechnic charge burns away at a defined rate during the flight of the projectile, and so the projectile loses mass in such a way that a predetermined effective range is not exceeded. As a result, safety and a nonlethal effect are achieved, in particular outside the effective range.

Self-consuming projectile

A box support ( ) is provided on both sides with shackles ( ) to make it easier to attach an ammunition box ( ) to the gun mount ( ) for an automatic weapon and to ensure better access to the cartridge feed belt for the loading and reloading operation, as well as to reduce the ergonomic stress when attaching the ammunition box to the gun mount. Device for attaching ammunition boxes to a box support for an automatic weapon

To permit single firing in a machine gun by a mechanical method, a trip lever is moved by a control surface attached to the weapon housing during the weapon recoil after triggering a shot. This motion causes the trip lever to disengage a coupling on the crankshaft. Because of this, the trigger plate can return to its starting position by means of spring force, independently of the position of the cocking lever. The recoil breech can then be caught by the trigger in the weapon housing. If the cocking lever is moved back, it again couples because of the spring.

Automatic machine gun

With the device a repositioning of ammunition feeds of an automatic weapon into various feed positions and a secured position is achieved. The selective positioning is achieved by a lever which is pivotally supported alongside a drive shaft and abuts by an integrally formed cam at one end face of a pivoting support part axially against a sleeve which is axially displaceable on the drive shaft. The sleeve is under the biasing force of a spring. The end face of the sleeve biasing toward the pivoting support part of the lever possesses also a cam which is in operative connection with a cam of the pivoting support which upon engagement effects a coupling driving engagement of the lever with the shaft. The mechanism acts to hold the lever of the ammunition feed in a respective position by means of the spring.

The safety lock for a barrel of automatic weapons comprises a breechblock carrier whose face facing the barrel confronts a slide. This slide is movable essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the barrel into a recess provided in the outside surface of the barrel, if the barrel is correctly locked.

Locking device for a gun barrel of an automatic weapon

A detonator lock on an automatic firearm, with a breech mechanism which is displaceable from a rear position into a priming position, comprises a safety device which can be pushed into the path of the closing device and is operatively connected with the support piece of the detonator. The safety device can be rigidly barred by a spring-supported lock bolt, the lock bolt which is held in position by a control element which is inserted in the path of the safety device before the safety device has moved into either the secured or the priming position.
