The invention relates to a pigment granulate which contains 40 to 65% by weight of pigment and at least 10% by weight of a compound of general formula (I) CH&#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;CH&#x2014;O&#x2014;[(CH)&#x2014;O]&#x2014;H, wherein n=8-18, p=1-4 and m=35-100, the weight ratio of the compound of general formula I to the pigment being &#x2267; the STSA surface area of the pigment in m/g multiplied by 0.0021 g/mand the mass-weighted particle size of the pigment granulate being &#x3c;20 &#x3bc;m. The pigment granulate can be produced by dispersing the pigment and the compound of formula I in a solvent and then drying the dispersion obtained. The pigments according to the invention can be used for dying and/or the antistatic finishing in water-based paints and lacquer systems, dispersion on paints, printing inks, ink systems and coating systems.

Pigment granulate, method for producing the same and use thereof

Ink jet ink containing at least one pigment and at least one oxidized carbon black. The ink jet ink is prepared in a process wherein the pigment is dispersed in at least one solvent, followed by addition of the oxidized carbon black and renewed dispersing. The ink jet ink can be used for printing textiles, metal, foil, film, sheet, glass and paper.

Aqueous, colloidal gas black suspension, containing a gas black, an azo compound of formula 1,and water. The aqueous, colloidal gas black suspensions is produced in that the gas black and the azo compound of general formula 1 are dispersed in water. It may be used to produce inks, ink jet inks, paints, printing inks, latices, textiles, leather, adhesives, silicones, plastics materials, concrete and construction materials.

A process for the production of modified carbon black, in which a carbon black dispersion containing carbon black, water and wetting agent, is mixed with an acid, aqueous solution or suspension of a primary amine and then reacted with sodium nitrite solution.

Aqueous carbon black dispersions contain carbon black and cationic and non-ionic surfactants in addition to water. The dispersions are produced by dispersing the carbon black and the other components in water with bead mills, ultrasonic mills or an Ultra Turrax mixer. The dispersions can be used to produce inks, lacquers and printing inks.

A pigment preparation, containing a pigment and/or carbon black and a polymer and/or a surfactant selected from the group of cross-linked polyoxyethyleneacrylic acid, fatty alcohol polyglycol ethers, polyvinylpyrrolidone, alcohol alkoxylates, lignin sulfonates, alkylphenol polyglycol ethers, naphthalene sulfonic acid derivatives or mixtures thereof which is prepared from an aqueous dispersion by freeze-drying. The pigment preparation can be used for coloring purposes and/or to provide antistatic characteristics in water-based coloring and lacquer systems, disperse dyes, printing inks, inking systems and coating systems.

Aqueous carbon black dispersions, wherein the carbon black dispersions contain no wetting agent and contain at least one ozone-oxidized carbon black. The dispersions are produced by dispersing ozone-oxidized carbon black and other constituents in water. The dispersions may be used for the production of inks, printing inks and water-based lacquer systems.
