Windscreen wiper drive

In the case of a windshield wiper drive having a swivelably mounted drive shaft, a drive rocker arm that is immovably attached thereto, a connecting lever which is attached to the drive rocker arm via a first joint, a support rocker arm which is connected to the connecting lever via a second joint and mounted via a joint, and a windshield wiper arm which is connected to the connecting lever, an object is to prevent distortion in the drive, while keeping production expenditures to a minimum. To accomplish this, one of the two joints of the connecting lever is swivelable in a plane that is defined by the axis of rotation of the accompanying rocker arm and by the corresponding joint, and the other joint is fixed in a plane that is defined by the axis of rotation of the accompanying rocker arm and by the joint.

A wiper blade for cleaning window glass of motor vehicles, comprising an elongated support frame provided with retaining claws, an elongated wiper strip composed of an elastic material and having a head strip grasped by the retaining claws, the head strip being provided with a longitudinal channel which is closed around and opens at end faces of the wiper strip, a spring rail located in the longitudinal channel and fixed against longitudinal shifting, a retaining unit fixing the spring rail against the longitudinal shifting, a unit mounted on the wiper strip so as to cooperate with the frame part and to secure the wiper strip in captive fashion on the support frame, the spring rail being retained by a positive engagement in the longitudinal channel, the securing unit being firmly connected to the wiper strip.

Wiper blade for cleaning window glass of motor vehicles

The washer apparatus for washing the window of a motor vehicle comprises a wiper blade oscillating over the window sitting on a hollow shaft, which is provided with at least one nozzle directed at the window to be washed. A washer fluid feed occurs to the nozzle through a structural element in a shaft passage of the hollow shaft, whose one downstream end portion is rigidly attached with the hollow shaft. A particularly trouble-free and economical washer apparatus can be attained when the other upstream end portion of the structural element is held fixed behind an upstream opening of the shaft passage and the structural element is at least partially made from a pliable material.

A device for wiping windshields to power vehicles comprises a wiping member, a wiping arm which performs an oscillating movement about an oscillation axis and has a free end spaced from the latter, a lever mechanism articulatedly connected with the free end of the wiping arm, and swivelably connected with the wiping member, the lever mechanism having a swivel axis which is a part of a swivel connection between the mechanism and the wiping member, the lever mechanism performing a swinging movement which branches from and is determined by the oscillating movement so as to constantly change a distance from the swivel axis to the oscillation axis, the lever mechanism including a gear transmission which changes the swinging movement branched from the oscillating movement.
