A rotary pump for delivering fluid includes: a pump housing having a low-pressure inlet and a high-pressure outlet for the fluid to be delivered; and a delivery rotor rotatable about a rotational axis in the pump housing and including a rotor base body and multiple deliverers distributed over the circumference of the rotor base body for delivering fluid from the low-pressure inlet to the high-pressure outlet. When the delivery rotor rotates, the radial and axial outer edges of the deliverers define a delivery region of the pump. The pump includes a flow channeling structure protruding axially into the low-pressure inlet in relation to the rotational axis of the delivery rotor from the pump housing wall in order to influence fluid flowing in the low-pressure inlet. The flow channeling structure arranged axially next to the delivery region and overlaps at least in portions with the delivery region in the radial direction.

A fluid delivery system includes a reservoir for storing fluid, a rotary pump having a first pump port and a second pump port, a first fluid conduit connecting the first pump port to the reservoir, and a second fluid conduit connecting the second pump port to the reservoir. The rotary pump rotates in a first delivery direction in a normal mode and in a second delivery direction in an alternative mode. A first valve separates the first pump port from the reservoir when the rotary pump is in its alternative mode, and a second valve separates the second pump port from the reservoir when the rotary pump is in its normal mode.

A rotary pump includes a housing featuring a delivery space which the housing surrounds and axially delineates on the end sides; an inner rotor rotatable in the delivery space; an outer rotor rotatable about a pump rotational axis in the delivery space and forming delivery cells with the inner rotor; and a circumferential bearing wall which mounts and surrounds the outer rotor rotatably about the pump rotation axis in radial sliding contact. The circumferential bearing wall includes multiple blind pockets which are radially open towards the outer rotor and/or the outer rotor includes multiple blind pockets which are radially open towards the circumferential bearing wall.

A rotary pump includes: a pump housing having a low-pressure inlet and a high-pressure outlet; a delivery rotor rotatable about a rotational axis and including multiple deliverers distributed over the circumference of the rotor for delivering a fluid from the low-pressure inlet to the high-pressure outlet; and a setting element for adjusting the delivery volume of the pump. The inlet end of the setting element includes a first circumferential portion which extends circumferentially in the rotational direction of the rotor and the axial width of which is smaller than the axial width of the deliverers and a second circumferential portion which adjoins the first circumferential portion in the rotational direction and the axial width of which is greater than the axial width of the first circumferential portion.

A rotary pump, preferably a vane cell pump or a pendulum slider pump, includes a stator and a rotor which rotates about a rotational axis within the stator. The rotor includes multiple delivery elements which move radially in relation to the rotational axis, and two adjacent delivery elements limit a delivery cell together with the outer surface area of the rotor and the inner surface area of the stator. At least two delivery cells, preferably two adjacent delivery cells, exhibiting a first maximum cell volume form a first delivery cell group and at least two other delivery cells, preferably two other adjacent delivery cells, exhibiting a second maximum cell volume form a second delivery cell group. A valve arrangement to allow a fluid flow in a first direction and block it in a second direction opposite the first direction. The valve arrangement includes: a fluid channel, a valve seat and a closing body arranged in the fluid channel. The closing body prevents fluid flow in the second direction when resting against the valve seat and allows fluid flow in the first direction when the closing body is lifted off the valve seat; a closing body holder in the fluid channel configured to restrict movement of the closing body in the first direction when the closing body is lifted off the valve seat.
