The invention relates to a cutting tool comprising a main part that can be rotationally driven about a rotational axis, at least one cutting insert holder mounted on the main part such that it can be radially adjusted, and an adjusting device for adjusting the position of the cutting insert holder relative to the main part. The cutting insert holder is mounted in a guide recess in the main part such that it can be moved transversely, preferably radially, to the rotational axis, and the adjusting device has an adjusting element that is arranged such that it can be moved inside the main part transversely to the rotational axis and transversely to the displacement direction of the cutting insert holder and supports the cutting insert holder.

The invention relates to a multi-edged machining tool for the post-machining or precision machining of bores. The tool has at least one cutting insert with a pre-determined nominal diameter measurement and with cutting edges that are distributed substantially uniformly around the periphery, in addition to a guide body assembly that is axially offset in relation to said edges. The guide body assembly can be an integral component of a substantially cylindrical guide body that consists of a solid carbide. The invention relates to a tool, in particular a revolving tool for machining, in particular metal cutting, workpieces, comprising a carrier body, a cutting body arranged detachably on the carrier body, and a clamping bracket for the positionally accurate fixation of the cutting body relative to the carrier body, wherein the cutting body is pressed against a supporting surface on the carrier body in a planar manner. According to the invention, the clamping bracket is integral with the carrier body and connected to the carrier body by way of a material joint. Furthermore, the cutting body is supported in the direction of the material joint on a face supporting surface of the clamping bracket, wherein the supporting surface is arranged on the carrier body at an acute angle (&#x3b1;) with respect to the face supporting surface of the clamping bracket and oriented in the direction of the material joint.
