A sanitary shower useful as an overhead shower has a shower body including a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and a shower head that is removably attachable to the shower body, has a fluid inlet connecting with the fluid outlet of the shower body and includes a shower outlet providing a shower fluid jet. A plug-on connector removably attaches the shower head to the shower body via latching lugs that snap radially into engagement with latching holes and are blocked and unblocked from disengagement by a movable locking ring.

A sanitary conduit, in particular for a shower device, is useful, for example, as a shower arm conduit in a shower system. The sanitary conduit has a rigid, hollow conduit housing including a base body () and a housing wall removably attached to the base body. At least one flexible conduit () is inserted in the hollow conduit housing and is made from a flexural conduit material.

A multiway valve, which is more particularly intended for a hand-operated shower, contains several individual valves, whose closure members are fitted to a tiltable element. By tilting the tiltable element, which is supported at one point, some of the plurality of individual valves can be opened and optionally also closed. The multiway valve can be housed in a confined space.

A shower head more particularly constructed as a lateral shower contains in its interior a turbine drivable by the flow of the water flowing into and out of it. During its rotary movement the turbine entrains a nozzle body, which engages with a spigot in a guide path. The water leaves the shower through a bore located in the nozzle body. As a result of the design of the guide path it is possible to continuously modify the direction in which the water jet passes out of the shower head.

A description is given of a sanitary article or object, particularly a hand-operated shower, having a changeover device ( ) for controlling a liquid flow, the sanitary article having a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet, as well as an air suction device which can be turned on or off by operating the changeover device in the manner of a water jet pump. The changeover device is so constructed that a passage cross-section formed between the liquid inlet ( ) and liquid outlet ( ) can be widened on turning off the air suction device. For this purpose, in addition to the pump jet opening ( ) of the air suction device, it is possible to open a ring channel-like, further passage cross-section ( ) arranged concentrically thereto. Whereas with the air suction device turned on and limited water consumption it is possible to produce a highly aerated, soft-feeling water jet, with the air suction device turned off roughly twice the water quantity can be delivered in the form of a powerful water jet suitable for massaging purposes.

A connecting means for a water flow appliance, for example a hand shower, contains a connecting element connected to a water guide, for instance, a house water mains. Arranged in the connecting element is a sieve element which can be shifted between a sieve position, in which it acts a sieve, and a cleaning position in which it is possible to remove the particles retained in the sieve element. The sieve position is always assumed when a connection is made to the connecting means. When this connection is removed the sieve element can be translated into the cleaning position for example by water pressure. The water flow can be passed through said sieve element in the cleaning position preferably in the reverse direction so that said sieve element is back-washed.

A shower having a shower head and a jet disk with a plurality of jet exit openings contains a cleaning device, which within the shower head has for each jet exit opening a pin, which is insertable in and reextractable from the jet exit opening. For moving the pins of the cleaning device a turbine is provided, which is driven by the water flowing into the shower head.

A shower head contains a shower head core with a connection to a water main and a cup-shaped jacket surrounding the core. The jacket only frees the jet disk connected to the core. For switching between two groups of jet exit openings a switching element is provided, which is rotatably located in the shower head core and is rotated by rotating the shower head jacket with respect to the still stationary core and jet disk.

A hand shower containing a shower head, a handle and a connection for the shower hose, has in the interior of its handle an insert part, which in the vicinity of its one end is connected to a line leading to the shower head and in the vicinity of its other end has the connection for the shower hose. The insert part can be used as a mounting support for different functional elements or can be part of different functional elements.
