A torsional vibration damper includes a rotational axis, an input part mounted about the rotational axis, an output part rotatable about the rotational axis to a limited extent relative to the input part; a spring device opposing rotation of the output part relative to the input part, a first cam mechanism, and a first intermediate element. The first intermediate element is arranged for radial displacement by the first cam mechanism when the output part rotates relative to the input part. The first intermediate element has a first intermediate element first part, and a first intermediate element second part. In an example embodiment, the damper includes a second cam mechanism and a second intermediate element arranged to be radially displaced by the second cam mechanism when the output part rotates relative to the input part. The spring device is arranged between the first intermediate element and the second intermediate element.

Torsional vibration damper, clutch disc, and clutch

A torsional vibration damper for a clutch disk within a drive train of a motor vehicle includes an input part arranged around an axis of rotation (d), a spring device with at least three spring elements, an output part, and torque-transmitting intermediate elements. The output part can be rotated relative to the input part about the axis of rotation (d) to a limited extent against the spring device. The torque-transmitting intermediate elements are arranged between the input part and the output part for forcible radial displacement by means of cam mechanisms when the input part rotates relative to the output part. The spring device is arranged between the torque-transmitting intermediate elements, and a number of intermediate elements corresponds to a number of spring elements.

Torsional vibration, clutch disk and clutch

A clutch disc includes an input part, an output part, and a vibration damper. The vibration damper includes a first part with a first flange area, a second part with a second flange area, a spring device, and first and second intermediate parts. The intermediate parts are coupled to the first flange area and the second flange area by respective slide devices such that movement of the intermediate parts relative one another is inhibited by the spring device. The flange areas are each in operative connection with the input part and the output part such that a load acting on the input part that changes from either rotational direction to an opposite rotational direction moves the first flange area relative to the second flange area in a single fixed direction of movement.

An adjustment device () for a friction clutch (), including at least the following components: a rotatable driving device (); an adjustment spindle () having an axial direction, which is connected to the driving device in a rotationally fixed manner; a spindle nut (), which is moved in the axial direction by rotation of the adjustment spindle; and an adjusting unit () for adjusting a distance () between an engagement device () and a pressure plate (), which adjusting unit is adjusted by an axial motion of the spindle nut () in such a way that the axial direction () of the adjustment spindle () can be oriented parallel to a radial direction () of the friction clutch (). Through the adjustment device here, it is possible to realize a robust functional unit that is sufficiently stiff with respect to the applied centrifugal forces and that has low production requirements, low weight, and low installation space.

Adjustment device for a friction clutch

A readjustment device for travel-controlled wear readjustment for a friction clutch includes a spindle with a spindle nut for rotating a pressure plate relative to a counter plate via a ramp system having a ramp ring for axial displacement of the pressure plate relative to the counter plate as a function of a relative rotation. The ramp ring has a first engagement device that is connected in a positively locking manner to the spindle nut. The first engagement device is designed such that, in an assembled state, the first engagement device is detachably connected to the spindle nut. This allows an inspection of the function of the readjustment device, in particular of the ramp system, in an assembled state of the readjustment device to be performed with little expenditure of time and without the risk of damage to a component, for example to the blocking elements on the pinion.

Readjustement device for a friction clutch

A clutch device having at least one torque transfer device that can be engaged and disengaged in the axial direction and is frictionally engaged in the engaged state, and at least one wear adjustment device, which has at least one rotatable adjusting ring, at least one rotatably supported spindle drive with a drive pinion, which acts on the adjusting ring, and at least one drive assembly which may be made to engage with the drive pinion and which is pre-tensioned in the axial direction, to turn the spindle drive in the case of wear, the pre-tensioning force of the drive assembly being stepped.

Clutch device

A twin clutch system for a transmission, particularly for a twin clutch transmission, including at least two clutches each having a clutch cover to which at least one disengaging system that actuates the clutches is fastened. According to the invention, a fastening element is provided that couples both coupling covers.

A clutch assembly in which a clutch, in order to engage, is pressed together against the force of the lining springiness via a lever plate. An additional spring force, which acts upon the lever plate in an opposite direction, alters the load placed on the clutch actuator whereby enabling it to be adapted to a linear compensating spring in an advantageous manner. The additional spring force is preferably applied by a disc spring, whereby the lever plate itself can be provided in the form of a lever disc spring. On the clutch actuator, a change in the direction of force can be prevented when the spring forces are appropriately matched.

The transmission includes a plurality of transmission ratio steps defined by pairs of gear carried on parallel shafts, and final output mechanisms for engaging desired transmission ratio steps. The final output mechanisms are operable for controlling the engagement of respective transmission ratio steps to minimize tractive force interruption by allowing rapid gear changes to be effected to reduce the times between shifts of gears. By sensing accelerator pedal position and vehicle speed a new transmission ratio step to be subsequently engaged can be pre-selected while an engaged gear remains engaged.

Emergency facilities for influencing defective constituents of power trains in motor vehicles

The power train of a motor vehicle has an automated transmission and/or an automated clutch, at least one control unit and at least one actor receiving signals from the control unit and serving to control the operation of the automated constituent or constituents of the power train. A reestablishable connection can be interrupted in the event of a malfunctioning of the power train, such as exhaustion of the supply of electrical energy, defectiveness of the actor and/or defectiveness of the automated constituent or constituents and/or defectiveness of the motion transmitting connection or connections between the actor and the automated constituent or constituents. This renders it possible to set the transmission in neutral or into another gear and/or to select the condition of the clutch in such a way that the vehicle can advance to a selected destination under it own power or that it can be towed to such destination.
