This disclosure relates to flavoured nicotine powder inhalers where the nicotine powder is delivered at air flow rates that mimic a smoking regime.

Flavoured nicotine powder inhaler

An electrically heated smoking system for receiving an aerosol forming substrate includes a heater for heating the substrate to form the aerosol. The heater includes a heating element. The electrically heated smoking system and the heating element are arranged such that, when the aerosol forming substrate is received in the electrically heated smoking system, the heating element extends a distance only partially along the length of the aerosol forming-substrate, and the heating element is positioned towards the downstream end of the aerosol forming substrate.

Electrically heated smoking system with internal or external heater

A nicotine powder inhaler () comprises a body extending between a mouthpiece portion () and a distal end portion (), an airflow channel () extending between the mouthpiece portion and the distal end portion and a nicotine powder receptacle () disposed along the airflow channel, and a powder system disposed within the nicotine powder receptacle. The powder system includes a first plurality of particles having a particle size of about (10) micrometres or less and including nicotine and a second plurality of particles having a particle size of about 20 micrometres of greater and including flavour. The first plurality of particles comprise an amino acid or nicotine selected from the group consisting of nicotine pyruvate, nicotine mono-pyruvate, nicotine aspartate and nicotine lactate.

A cartridge for an aerosol-generating system may include a first chamber housing defining a first chamber and a second chamber housing defining a second chamber that is separate from the first chamber. A cartridge for use with an aerosol generating device includes a housing defining a closed end, an open end, and an aperture between the closed end and the open end. The cartridge further includes a composition including nicotine in the housing in proximity to the closed end. The cartridge also includes a flow control apparatus in the housing. The flow control apparatus includes a proximal end, a distal end, and an internal airflow passageway between the distal end and the proximal end. A seal is formed between an exterior of the flow control apparatus and an interior of the housing. The seal is between the open end of the housing and the aperture of the housing. A channel is at least partially defined by the interior of the housing. The channel is in communication with the aperture and directs air from the aperture towards the composition including nicotine.

An aerosol-generating system includes a liquid-storage portion including a housing configured to store a liquid aerosol-forming substrate. The aerosol-generating system also includes a heater configured to heat liquid aerosol-forming substrate, a vibratable element including a plurality of passages through which the heated liquid aerosol-forming substrate passes to form an aerosol, and an actuator arranged to vibrate the vibratable element to generate the aerosol.
