The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a molded article () of a rubber polymer to which another article () is detachably connected. The method comprises the steps of providing a coupling means (), comprising a first () and second () member, both of which are provided with interlocking elements () along connectable edges, the interlocking elements () being configured to interlock in a substantially continuous way along the edges in the connected state, and unlock in the disconnected state; integrating the first member () and the molded article (), such that its interlocking elements () are available for connection; integrating the second member () and the other article (), such that its interlocking elements () are available for connection; and interlocking the interlocking elements () of the first and second member () to produce the detachable connection between the articles. The invention further relates to a vehicle spoiler (), portions of which are mutually connected by the method of the invention.

Method for manufacturing a molded article of a rubber polymer to which another article is detachably connected

A vehicle front spoiler comprises a flexible airflow guiding element provided in a region of a front part of the vehicle and extending in a transverse direction Y of the vehicle, and an actuating member, configured to move the airflow guiding element relative to said part of the vehicle between an extended operative position and a retracted inoperative position in which the airflow guiding element is folded rearwards to behind said vehicle part. The airflow guiding element is made of a rubber composition comprising an anisotropic textile structure of reinforcement cord having an elongation at break in the Y-direction of from 5% to 50%, and an elongation at break in the Z-direction lower than the elongation at break in the Y-direction, and is readily moved between the operative and the inoperative position with relatively low hysteresis losses.

An air guiding device () for a motor vehicle has a spoiler lip () mountable on a front part () of the motor vehicle via an adapter () and extends in the transverse direction (FQ) of the vehicle. A pneumatic actuating device () shifts the spoiler lip () between a retracted rest position and an extended position. The invention relates to a polymer composition comprising a matrix polymer, silica particles dispersed therein, and a coupling agent and a screening agent for the silica particles, and is characterized in that the screening agent is an alkylamine compound.
