An electrical female terminal, manufactured from a single metal sheet, comprising a crimping portion and a contact portion adapted to mate with a corresponding male terminal to be inserted therein, the contact portion comprising an outer frame having a top wall, a bottom wall parallel and opposed to the top wall, and two side walls, an inner frame encased in the outer frame, a first elastic contact member extending from the inner frame, and bearing on an inner portion of the bottom wall, a second elastic contact member extending from the inner frame and bearing on an inner portion of the top wall. The first and second elastic contact members have a convex shape oriented toward one another.

Electrical female terminal

The electrical contact includes a wire crimping portion receiving an electrical wire, a cylindrical power contact portion for connection with a complementary contact. The power contact portion comprises includes a body mechanically retained on the wire crimping portion and spring legs depending from the body and to be contacted with the complementary contact. The electrical contact further includes an electrically insulating cover covering the spring legs. The cover additionally includes fool proof features to prevent incorrect assembly of the cover into passages of the housing.

Electrical contact

Electrical contact having a longitudinal axis along which a first central body and at least one first blade are produced, characterized in that this electrical contact is intended to be mated with a complementary electrical contact which itself has a second central body and at least one second blade, extending generally in the longitudinal direction of the second contact, so that when the contact and the complementary contact are mated the first blade is in electrical contact with the second central body and the second blade is in electrical contact with the first central body.

Hermaphroditic electrical contact

A front endof a locking armprovided on a rear holderis inserted into a hole portionformed in a main housing, and the locking armis supported like as a bridge. The main housingis inserted into a hood portionof a cooperating housingand connecting terminals are connected to each other to establish the electrical connection. A locking clawformed on the locking armis once resiliently moved downward to pass through a locking clawof the cooperating housingand is then restored into an original posture to engage the locking clawwith the locking claw. Once the main housingis engaged with the cooperating housing, these housings could not be released accidentally.

The invention relates to a one-piece female electrical contact () which is cut and folded and which comprises, longitudinally, a rear area for connecting to an electrical conductor, a protective cage, which consists of a floor (), two lateral walls () and at least one ceiling element, and, on the front, a termination which is in contact with a complementary male contact. Said contact termination consists of at least one elastic contact blade () comprising a blade which is connected to the rear of at least one ceiling element () and which extends towards the rear before folding.

Female electrical contact

The subject of the invention is a coupling element for two plugs comprising a body (18) provided with: a first base impression (24) arranged in said body, a terminal housing (34) able to receive an insert (32) in which is created a second base impression (30), a third connection impression (36) derived from the first impression and emerging in this terminal housing, and a contact-bearing connection block (32). The invention also covers the necessary male and female elements as well as the coupling device obtained.
