According to various embodiments, an input device attachment is provided and, more specifically, for some embodiments an input device attachment is provided that is combinable with a computer or video game controller. For example, various embodiments provide attachments for handheld video gaming devices configured to control electronic devices, such handheld video gaming devices including without limitation computer controllers, video game console controllers, and handheld video gaming devices. Various embodiments of the invention comprise an attachment comprising an input mechanism that may augment an existing input mechanism of an input device or add an additional input mechanism to the input device. Additionally, some embodiments may augment an exterior structure, or a surface of the input device.

Video game control attachment

According to one embodiment of the technology described herein, a audio headset system is provided, comprising: a speaker; a signal processor configured to process source audio received from an audio source, to produce processed audio from the source audio, and to output the processed audio to the speaker; and a control unit configured to control operation of the signal processor according to an audio profile, wherein the audio profile causes the signal processor to selectively mix, delay, phase shift, and equalize the source audio, thereby producing processed audio.

Audio headset system and apparatus

According to some embodiments of the invention, a controller attachment apparatus is provided, comprising: a handle portion configured to accept and hold a controller; and an attachment portion affixed to the handle portion such that it allows a covering to be diposed over the handle portion once the controller is placed into the handle portion. For such an embodiment, the attachment portion may be in the shape of a sporting good or a weapon. For example, with respect to sporting goods, the attachment portion may take the shape of a tennis racket, paddle tennis racket, golf club, baseball bat, hockey stick, lacrosse stick, or fishing rod. Alternatively, with respect to weapons, the head portion may take the shape of a sword, dagger, blade, a light saber, a gun, or a phaser.
