Bar composed of an aluminum section with which copper contact jumpers are brought into intimate contact at the end or at regular intervals. The flanges of jumpers 20 have silver plated areas A on their internal surface, for example in the form of strips 24 transverse to the length of the bar and silver plated areas B on their external surface located between the areas A and the web of the jumper. The internal silver plated areas contribute to welding the jumper to the section and the external areas are used for making contact with junction devices or fish plates.

Bar for an electricity distribution duct

Electrical distribution duct with a signal transmission bus. Two bus connection parts that can be coupled with each other and associated with the support and the connector, respectively, are provided at branch connection support distributed along the duct. The connection part associated with the support includes two elastic contacts arms, built into an insulating body, to connect to each bus wire. Thus there are two contact points for each bus wire located at the ends of arms that come into contact with a rigid contact area laid out on a tab of the connector inserted in a support slot.

Electrical distribution duct with transmission bus

A channel supporting device includes a support member having two clamps between which trunking is accommodated. The clamps each have an upper projection which defines between them and above the trunking housing for receiving a channel. The channel locks the support member around the trunking.

Manufacture of electrical trunking containing, in a metal enclosure, a set of parallel electrical conductors supported at regular intervals on insulative contact blocks. A single sheet metal blank is bent and crimped to produce a tubular profile with joined edges 27, 28, the conductor assembly 31 is then slid into the tube and each support contact block 30 is centered in a respective branch opening 18 using a tool inserted through the opening. The contact block is clamped against the opening by an elastic expansion device.

Electrical trunking and method of manufacturing the same

Prefabricated electrical trunking made up of butt-jointed unit enclosure sections. A mechanical coupling is provided by use of flanges clamped by bolts passing through tubular spacers inside the enclosure sections. The spacers include openings receiving in a watertight manner swaged portions of orifices formed in the enclosure sections. A unit conductor assembly is housed in the coupling.

A coupling device for prefabricated electrical trunking. An internal member fits inside enclosure sections of the trunking which are to be butt-jointed. The internal member has water drainage grooves on its outer surface near a mating plane of the butt-joint. An exterior member fits over the joints and its two halves are bolted together.

This invention relates to an electrical connection device comprising conductive bars of electrical conduits and further comprising, on the one hand, conductive splicing pads each joining ends of the conductive bars aligned end to end and, on the other hand, insulating splice elements that are inserted between the conductive bars so as to insulate them. The stack made of the inserted insulating elements and of the splicing pads on the conductive bar ends is tightened by a common bolt-type tightening element that goes through them. Further, at least one of the splicing pads comprises at least one separable part so that this separable splicing pad part can be removed and replaced with a branch output device.

Electrical connection device of conductive bars of electrical conduits

The invention provides a supply box for electric ducting able to be mounted at both ends of an electric distribution ducting. This box comprises a movable part with foolproof means which may be moved transversely with respect to the axis of the ducting, between a first position in which the foolproof means cooperate with associated foolproof means on the ducting so as to allow connection of the box to the ducting and a second position making such connection impossible. Marks provided on the movable part make it possible to identify the conductors of the box for each of the two positions.

Supply box for electric ducting

A disconnectable current tapping device is provided having clips engageable on onmibus bars and disengageable therefrom by translation of a clip carrying slide controlled by a rotary shaft, which is rotated by a plug which is mounted for translation on the shaft while being urged by a return spring, and which is subjected to the action of a control member such as an operating key. By an axial thrust exerted on the plug, a transmission piece provided with a spur in engagement in an annular groove formed in the plug, is drawn in translation so as to actuate a prebreak microcontact; at the end of rotation of the shaft controlling the disconnection, the piece is retained by a resilient retractable member, whereas the plug is returned only through a ramp provided at the edge of the groove so as to allow release of the spur.

Current tapping device disconnectable from an omnibus bar distribution

The invention provides a clip device for establishing a disconnectable electric connection between an omnibus bar and a fixed conducting knife. The clip is formed of two symmetrical flat conducting tongues disposed opposite each other and connected together by two compression springs. The clips are spaced apart and held apart from each other by a stirrup against which each of the legs of the clip bears in a double layer effect after unclipping thereof from the bar by translation.
