The invention concerns a mobile terminal with at least two transducers (LSm, LSs, LSS) used simultaneously as loudspeakers for stereophonic effect. According to the invention, one of said transducers is a main transducer (LSm) with a main working frequency band (Bm) corresponding to at least the phone frequency band, while the other transducer is a secondary transducer (LSs; LSs) with a secondary working frequency band (Bs; Bs) band different from said main frequency band, the lowest frequencies of said secondary working frequency band (Bs; Bs) being greater than the lowest frequencies of said main working frequency band.

Terminals having analog/digital telephone functions as well as data exchange functions and having a printer-option and for use in a system comprising an access provider/server provider and such a terminal should have a low complexity, which can be realized by locating conversion device for converting data into printer data at the access provider/server provider and by locating switching device for switching the printer data arriving via the telephone network to a printer connector at the terminal. Then, although the hardware printer driver is still in the terminal, the software printer driver is installed at the access provider/server provider, which reduces the complexity and load of the terminal.

Printer-option system for exchanging data between a terminal and access

A video communication terminal for setting up a video communication system which is compact and easy to install, which can be easily transported to different locations and which does not create EMI interference in spite of the compact design. The terminal (T) for video communication includes an electronically moveable camera (C) and a processor card (CP) with a corresponding video codec. The terminal is placed between a display screen (BS) and a respective telecommunication network. The camera (C) can be controlled via a remote control (FB) and comprises an autofocus. Special shielding (B) separating, for example, the camera (C) from the processor card (CP), is provided for suppressing EMI interference. The terminal (T) can be placed on top of the display screen (BS).

Terminal for audio-video communication

A video codec for a videophone terminal of an integrated services digital network. The codec is organized to receive firstly image signals from a television camera so as to transmit them, after compressing and encoding them, to a remote video decoding unit, via a digital transmission line, and secondly similarly-processed image signals via the digital transmission line, so as to decompress and decode them for a television screen receiver locally connected to the video codec. The video codec includes a processing unit, of the integrated circuit type, co-operating with a single external memory plane both to compress and encode data to be transmitted, and also to decompress and decode received data, with the assistance of internal operational components time shared so as to apply known methods to transmission and to reception.
