A circuit breaker for use in medium voltage applications includes: a housing; a first contact arranged on an end of a first contact stem that extends fixedly through the housing; a second contact arranged on an end of a second contact stem that extends axially and is movable through the housing. The circuit breaker further includes a moving device for moving the second contact between a closed position in contact with the first contact and an open position spaced apart from the first contact. A mass of the second contact is less than a mass of the first contact. The moving device includes a closing mechanism for urging the second contact to the closed position and an opening mechanism for urging the second contact to the open position. The circuit breaker further includes a reconditioning power source and a controller for providing a reconditioning current.

Circuit breaker

An actuating mechanism for an electrical switching device includes a frame and a driving member. The driving member is rotatably arranged in the frame around an axis and is movable between a first driver position and a second driver position. The driving member is mechanically linkable to the electrical switching device by a first linking member. The movable contacts of the electrical switching device are in a first position in the first driver position of the driving member and are in a second position in the second driver position of the driving member. The actuating mechanism further includes an actuating member. The actuating member is rotatably arranged in the frame around an axis and is movable between a first actuator position and a second actuator position by hand or based on using a motor. The actuating mechanism further includes a load spring.

Actuating mechanism for an electrical switching device providing predictable switching speed

A combination includes: an electricity conducting element and a connector cable. The electricity conducting elements includes: a body of insulating material; an electrical conductor extending through the body; at least one passive electrical sensor embedded or integrated in the body of insulating material; and at least one shielded connector with one or more terminals arranged on an outer surface of the body, the at least one shielded connector being electrically connected to the at least one passive electrical sensor. The connector cable includes: a first shielded connector with one or more terminals for connecting with the at least one shielded connector; a second shielded connector with one or more terminals for connecting with an appliance or a further connector cable; and electrical components arranged closely to the first shielded connector and electrically connected to the terminals of the first shielded connector.

Combination of an electricity conducting element, such as bushing, and a connector cable

A voltage transformer includes: a body with primary windings and secondary windings coupled to each other by electromagnetic induction; a measuring device electrically connected to the secondary windings via a first fuse; and a relay having a coil and at least one pole with normally open contacts, the at least one pole being configured to be thrown by an energizing of the coil. The coil is arranged in series with the primary windings. The at least one pole with normally open contacts is arranged between the secondary windings via the first fuse in order to short circuit the first fuse when the at least one pole is thrown.

A Rogowski coil includes: a multilayer printed circuit board having a plurality of layers forming at least an outer top circuit board surface, an outer bottom circuit board surface, an inner top circuit board surface, and an inner bottom circuit board surface; a first winding formed by a plurality of tracks arranged alternately on the outer top circuit board surface and the outer bottom circuit board surface, the plurality of tracks being electrically connected by vias extending from the outer top circuit board surface to the outer bottom circuit board surface; and a second, return winding enveloped by the first winding. The multilayer printed circuit board includes a central passage opening for passage of a current conducting conductor. Axes of the first and second winding are arranged concentric around the central passage opening. The first and second winding are electrically arranged in series.

Rogowski coil

A device for medium or high voltage switching element gear, the device having: a switching element for connecting two conductors: and a driving rod for operating the switch, wherein the driving rod comprises at least a surface layer of an electrically high resistance material. The electrically high resistance material ensures that a small current will flow through the material due to the present electrical field. This small current will cause a heating of the driving rod, such that condensation is reduced or prevented.

Cooling arrangement for conductor in electrical installation

An electrically insulated conductor connection assembly and a method for providing the same are provided. The electrically insulated conductor connection assembly includes first and second electrical conductors each comprising a body portion and an end portion. A fastening mechanism electrically and mechanically connects the end portions of the first electrical conductor to the end portion of the second electrical conductor, and an insulator overlays and electrically insulates the fastening mechanism. The end portions of the first and second electrical conductors and the fastening mechanism form a joint, which is structured to be fastenable and unfastenable. When the joint is fastened and the insulator is overlaying the fastening mechanism, the joint is electrically insulated.
