The pharmaceutical composition includes a multi-target inhibitor, multi-phase modulator, or multi-kinase inhibitor, such as axitinib, nintedanib, pirfenidone, riociguat, sorafenib, sunitinib, lenvatinib, regorafenib, ponatinib, or pazopanib.

The reproductive tract or digestive tract disease or disorder comprises uterine fibroids or primary sclerosing cholangitis, including Intra uterine surgery, intra uterine synechiae, Asherman's syndrome, biliary duct fibrosis, biliary duct sclerosis, and primary biliary cirrhosis.

Multikinase inhibitors and uses in reproductive and digestive tract fibrosis

A method for preventing, treating and/or improving a prostatic disease or disorder associated with epithelial hyperplasia and/or fibrosis, comprising: administering an effective amount of a multikinase inhibitor to a subject in need thereof, wherein the multikinase inhibitor has a certain spectrum of kinase inhibitory activity. The multikinase inhibitor is sunitinib, regorafenib, ponatinib, pazopanib, nintedanib and/or lenvatinib. The prostatic disease or disorder is selected from the group consisting of benign prostate hyperplasia and its associated lower urinary tract symptoms, fibrosis of ureters and renal pelvis, prostate adenoma, and prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia in animals and humans.

Multikinase inhibitors and uses in prostatic hyperplasia and urinary track diseases

A method for preventing and/or treating fibrosis associated with an eye-related disease or disorder includes administering an effective amount of a multikinase inhibitor to a subject in need thereof. The multikinase inhibitor is nintedanib, lenvatinib, a combination thereof, or a salt thereof. The eye-related disease or disorder is corneal transparency, corneal scar formation, secondary cataract formation, glaucoma filtration surgery, ocular surgical procedures and implants, photorefractive keratectomy, laser in situ keratomileusis, formation and contraction of pre- and epiretinal membranes, proliferative vitreoretinopathy, subretinal fibrosis/scarring, retinal gliosis, or formation of choroidal membranes.

Multikinase inhibitors and uses in ocular fibrosis

Anti-angiogenesis compositions, and methods of using such compositions, useful for injection into the vitreous of human eyes are provided. Such compositions include MAAC solutions or particles present in a therapeutically effective amount, a viscosity-inducing component, and an aqueous carrier component. The compositions have viscosities at about 25&#xb0; C. of at least about 10 cps or about 100 cps at a shear rate of 0.1/second. In a preferred embodiment, the viscosity at 25&#xb0; C. is in the range of from about 80,000 cps to about 300,000 cps.

The implants may be placed in an eye to treat or reduce the occurrence of one or more ocular conditions, such as retinal damage, including glaucoma and proliferative vitreoretinopathy among others.

Carbonic anhydrase inhibitor sustained release intraocular drug delivery systems

The present invention relates to drug delivery systems comprising ocular implant, which include organic molecules, capable of modulating tyrosine kinase signal transduction in order to regulate, modulate and/or inhibit abnormal cell proliferation, in combination with a polymer, which polymer serves to control, modify, modulate and/or slow the release of the therapeutic component into the environment of the eye in which said composite is placed.
