A pack for stacked articles with at least an identical base area, for example rectangular or square, comprises two adhesive strips which do not have lines of weakness or tearing lines and are provided at least on the narrow sides of the stack. The material is recyclable and corresponds as far as possible to the other packaging material. A gripping aid facilitates the largely non-destructive pulling off of the adhesive strips for individually separating the articles. The pack can be used for all rectangularly shaped articles such as cuboids, cubes, disks etc.

A protective container is provided for substantially cuboidal objects which is in the form of a hollow cuboid case which is open on one side. A case part is provided for covering the open side, the case part is U-shaped or partially U-shaped in this position. A closure arrangement is provided which connects the hollow cuboid case and the case part reveals when the container is opened for the first time. This container is especially well-suited for use with cassettes of all types, as well as other substantially cuboidal articles.

A container having a viewing window essentially comprises a housing with a window which can be fastened to it and is designed in one part as a transparent part and in another part as a masking part, in particular in the edge region. The aim is to cover over the fastening points. In addition, the advantage is obtained of using windows with a wide variety of maskings for the same housing, provided that the contours of the cutout and of the outline of housing and window are adapted at least substantially to one another. The plastic container with windows can be used for all packing and archiving purposes, in particular also as a cassette with a recording medium, for example a magnetic tape cassette.

An environmentally appropriate protective covering for articles, in particular rectangular parallelepipedal bodies, comprises a container receiving the article or rectangular parallelepipedal body, if appropriate is of a rectangular parallelepipedal form and is closed by means of an at least three-part, partly separable closure strip. For opening, the central part is separated from the side parts, which remain on the container. The presence or absence of the central part consequently represents an indication of originality. The closure strip can also be used advantageously in the case of a protective covering unit, comprising a plurality of stacked containers, for connecting and forming a pack. The invention can be used advantageously in any application where a single closure strip can be used to economize on outer packaging materials.

A container for at least two separate articles with separate receiving spaces, the dividing wall being movable and it being possible as a result to vary the momentary size of the receiving spaces, thereby also facilitating the accessibility and removability of the articles. The container can be suitably used for any type of articles, in particular for recording carriers and insert sheets.

A container for cassettes is provided with at least one reinforcing edge substantially close to and parallel to back, front and/or side walls, and, if necessary, with reinforcing ribs between reinforcing edge and the adjacent wall. Ejection points for production of the container by injection molding are located along the reinforcing edge(s), for example at the connection points with the reinforcing ribs. The container can be used for any article having a substantially right parallelepiped shape.

Film packaging for right parallelepiped articles, in which the film parts are welded by heat sealing, is provided with a tear aid in the form of an additional, advantageously arranged imprint which prevents heat sealing in one or more desired areas. The reliability of film removal is additionally increased by means of a plurality of oblique prints and imprint areas one covering the other. The packaging can be used for articles of all types where complete removal of all packaging parts is necessary, for example for tape cassettes, in particular for magnetic tape cassettes.
