A process for the transfer color printing of synthetic textile materials which comprises placing a transfer material which carries a colored pattern derived from one or more disperse dyestuffs each containing at least one carboxylic acid group in contact with a synthetic textile material and heating the transfer material and the synthetic textile material while in contact so as to transfer the dyestuff from the transfer material to the synthetic textile material.

Transfer printing with carboxylic dyes

Process for coloring synthetic polyamide textile materials which comprises applying to the said textile materials by a dyeing, padding or printing process, an aqueous dispersion of pH less than 7 of a disperse dyestuff containing at least one carboxylic acid group and in the presence of a tanning agent, whereby level colorations are obtained which have excellent wet fastness properties.

Coloration process

Dyeing nylon by applying sulphonated or unsulphonated dyestuffs containing cyclic anhydride groups, anhydride forming dicarboxylic acid groups or half-esters or half-amides thereof, as free acids or as salts with ammonia or volatile amines, and heating the fibre until dyestuff fixation takes place.

Dyeing process

Dyeing cellulose or cellulose/polyester blends by applying unsulphonated dyestuffs containing cyclic anhydride groups, anhydride-forming dicarboxylic acid groups or half-esters or half-amides thereof, as free acids or as salts with ammonia or volatile amines, and heating the fibre until dyestuff fixation takes place.
