Injection molding apparatus including a first mold cavity having an inlet, a second mold cavity having an inlet, a source of a first material to be injected, a source of a second material to be injected, and a co-injection manifold including a nozzle housing including a first outlet adapted to communicate with the first mold cavity inlet, a second outlet adapted to communicate with the second mold cavity inlet, first and second spaced apart inlets respectively adapted to communicate with the first and second sources of material to be injected, a first passageway communicating between the first inlet and the first and second outlets, and a second passageway communicating between the second inlet and the first and second outlets.

Co-injection method apparatus for injection molding

Injection molding apparatus comprising a platen, a die which is fixed to the platen and which defines a mold cavity having an inlet, a co-injection manifold mounted on the platen, the manifold including a nozzle housing having forward and rearward ends, the nozzle housing including an outlet which is located adjacent the forward end and which communicates with the mold cavity inlet, first and second spaced apart inlets which are located adjacent the rearward end and which are respectively adapted to communicate with first and second injection nozzles, a first passageway communicating between the first inlet and the outlet, and a second passageway communicating between the second inlet and the outlet.

Co-injection manifold for injection molding

An improved surgical suction probe includes a tubular probe portion and a tubular handle portion joined together to define an internal bore. A reciprocable one-piece valve is disposed within the bore and is movable between flow and non-flow positions for regulating flow of material through the probe. The components of the probe may be easily and inexpensively fabricated from plastic or other suitable material, thus providing a suitable suction probe arrangement with the necessary operational characteristics which may be fabricated inexpensively for single use service.
