Stent delivery systems and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. An example stent delivery system may include an inner member having a proximal end. A sleeve may be coupled to the inner member adjacent to the proximal end. A deployment sheath may be disposed about the inner member. A gear rack assembly may be coupled to the deployment sheath. A stent may be disposed between the inner member and the deployment sheath. A handle may be coupled to the inner member and to the deployment sheath. The handle may include an actuation member. The actuation member may be coupled to the gear rack assembly so that actuation of the actuation to member shifts the longitudinal position of the gear rack assembly and the deployment sheath. An engagement mechanism may be coupled to the gear rack assembly. The engagement mechanism may be configured to engage the sleeve of the inner member so that proximal retraction of the gear rack assembly results in proximal retraction of the inner shaft.

Stent delivery system

A stent delivery system including a stent disposed between an inner member and a deployment sheath is disclosed. Additionally, the stent delivery system includes a handle that may be coupled to the inner member and to the deployment sheath. The handle may include an actuation member coupled to the gear rack assembly so that actuation of the actuation member shifts the longitudinal position of the gear rack assembly and the deployment sheath. The gear rack assembly may include an engagement mechanism that may be configured to engage the inner member so that proximal retraction of the gear rack assembly results in proximal retraction of the inner shaft.

Stent delivery systems, clip members for use with stent delivery systems, and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. An example stent delivery system may include an inner shaft having a distal region. A stent may be disposed about the distal region. A deployment sheath may be slidably disposed about the inner shaft. A handle may be coupled to the inner shaft. The handle may include a clip member having a first holding portion and a second holding portion. The inner shaft may extend through the first holding portion and the second holding portion. A holding cuff may be thermally bonded to the inner shaft. The holding cuff may be positioned between the first holding portion and the second holding portion.

A catheter assembly and related methods directed to stent edge protection for an edge of a stent. One example stent edge protect member is positioned with a distal end portion of the stent edge protect member arranged proximal of and adjacent to a proximal end of the stent. The stent edge protect member defines an outer surface that transitions from an outer surface of the stent at the proximal end of the stent to an outer surface of the catheter branch on which the stent edge protect member is positioned. The stent edge protect member can be positioned on a single catheter branch or multiple catheter branches.

Stent edge protection and methods

A catheter assembly and related methods having a main balloon, a branch balloon arrangement and a stent. The branch balloon arrangement can include a branch balloon and at least one orientation indicator. The orientation indicator can include visible markings on portions of the side balloon or on inflation segments coupled in fluid communication to the side balloon. The side balloon can have a specific color that is different from a color of the main balloon for improved visualization of the side balloon. The orientation indicator can be helpful in aligning the side balloon relative to features of the stent. The stent can include a side branch opening located between distal and proximal open ends of the stent.

Side balloon identifiers and methods for radial and axial alignment in a catheter assembly

A catheter assembly includes a main catheter branch and a side catheter branch. The main catheter branch includes a main balloon and a side balloon. The side catheter branch includes a transparent portion along at least a portion of a length of the side catheter branch. The transparent portion of the side catheter branch permits viewing of the side balloon through the transparent portion for alignment of the side balloon relative to the side catheter branch. The catheter assembly can further include a stent, wherein the stent includes a lateral branch opening. The transparent portion of the side catheter branch can also provide viewing of the side balloon through the side catheter branch to help align the side balloon with the lateral branch opening.

Bifurcation catheter assembly side catheter branch construction and methods

The system incorporates wire deflection, taut wire detection for perimeter security applications. Generally, the system of the invention provides intrusion detection by an internal mechanism. The internal mechanism can detect wire deflection in any direction. In turn, given a sufficient amount of wire deflection, a security system is signaled. However, the force required to sufficiently deflect the wires is high enough so as to minimize nuisance alarms. The internal mechanism is generally held within a structure so that it is protected from tampering. As such, the internal mechanism is also kept separate from the wire array so that it is protected from attempts by an intruder to isolate the wire array.
