According to some aspects, a hybrid optic is provided. The hybrid optic comprises a capillary optic for receiving x-rays from an x-ray source at an entrance portion of the capillary optic and for providing x-rays at an exit portion of the capillary optic, and a grazing incidence multi-shell optic (GIMSO) coupled, at an entrance portion of the GIMSO, to the exit portion of the capillary optic to receive x-rays emerging from the exit portion of the capillary optic, the GIMSO including an exit portion for providing x-rays.

Hybrid X-ray optic apparatus and methods

The present invention provides an external single-use, disposable male catheter, comprising a pliable plastic container having a closed end and an opening so as to receive a fluid, an absorbent, and an interior partition separating the closed end and the opening to retain the absorbent. The partition is water-permeable and is optionally disintegrable when contacted with urine. Additionally, a closure means is provided which includes a layer of foam attached to the plastic at the opening and having a vapor-permeable adhesive on the other side for adhering to itself and skin.

External single-use catheter

The present invention provides an external single-use, disposable male catheter, comprising: a pliable plastic container having a closed end and an opening so as to receive a fluid; methods for selectively closing and securing the catheter to male genitalia; an absorbent; and methods for promoting vapor exchange.
