A container for storing a medical or pharmaceutical liquid comprising a storage compartment for storing the liquid comprising, an inlet opening for filling the storage compartment and an outlet opening for discharging liquid out of the storage compartment is presented. A hydrophilic membrane layer is arranged within the storage compartment which is gas-tight in a wet condition and which at least covers the outlet opening and contacts the liquid stored within the storage compartment. A dosing assembly and a device for automated release of a medical or pharmaceutical liquid comprising and/or capable of using at least one container are also disclosed.

Infusion systems for holding an infusion pump on the body of a user are provided. According to one embodiment, the infusion system includes: a carrier frame; a guiding member disposed on the carrier frame; and a linear guide on the infusion pump wherein, when the infusion pump is attached to the carrier frame, the guiding member and the linear guide mate with each other to hold the infusion pump in place.

An embodiment directed towards a system for ambulatory drug infusion over an extended time period from a flexible container is disclosed, and in which the system comprises a filling apparatus with a hollow support structure defining a container compartment, the container compartment being adapted to receive, fully or in part, the flexible container, and the support structure being adapted to limit the expansion of the flexible container by contacting the flexible container upon being filled, thus defining a maximum filling volume of the flexible container. In other embodiments, a container assembly is disclosed that comprises a flexible container and a support structure as well as use of a flexible container in or in combination with a system according to the invention or a container assembly according to the invention.

A device, kit, and method for transferring a liquid medicament from a supply container to a flexible reservoir container are disclosed. The device may comprise a compartment unit and an adapter unit. The compartment unit may have a sealingly closable chamber, arranged for housing the flexible reservoir container and for being fluidly connected with a pump mechanism. The adapter unit may have at least one transfer passage for transferring liquid from a supply container connected to the adapter unit to the flexible reservoir container, and a separator arranged in the transfer passage for separating gas bubbles from a liquid streaming through the transfer passage. The separator may be fluidly connected to the chamber.

Device, kit, and method for filling a flexible reservoir container in a negative pressure chamber

Included are systems and methods for determining a fill level of an inflow-less flexible medicine reservoir as a source for medicine, where the inflow-less flexible medicine reservoir has a monotonically decreasing fill level. Some embodiments of a device include a stop surface designed and arranged such that the stop surface contacts the inflow-less flexible medicine reservoir while the inflow-less flexible medicine reservoir is filled above a predetermined level. Similarly, some embodiments of the device additionally include a release detector that generates an output signal indicative of contact between the stop surface and the inflow-less flexible medicine reservoir being released and a processing unit for determining the fill level of the inflow-less flexible medicine reservoir from an output signal of the release detector.
