Methods, systems, and computer program products for placement of objects in a loading space are provided. Aspects include determining item data for a plurality of items, determining space data for a loading space, generating an optimized configuration for placement of the plurality of items in the loading space comprising determining one or more geometric representations for each item in the plurality of items, wherein the one or more geometric representations for each item are coupled together, determining, by an algorithm, a location in the loading space for each item in the plurality of items based on the one or more geometric representations for each item and the space data, and displaying, by a display, the optimized configuration comprising an image of each item of the plurality of items overlaid on corresponding locations in an image of the loading space.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to a computer-implemented method of for data transfer. The method includes a processor detecting a characteristic of a stream of data transferring from a first computing device to a second computing device using a first input/output I/O protocol. The processor detects a change in the characteristic of the data transfer. In response to detecting the change the first I/O protocol in mid-stream, to a second I/O protocol, wherein the data in the stream is reformed to comport with the second I/O protocol, and wherein the change is in response to the change in the characteristic.

Provided are systems, methods, and media for building a dynamic digital profile of a user to generate a user grouping recommendation. An example method includes receiving, by a system comprising one or more processors, social media data pertaining to a user. The method includes building, by the system, a digital profile of the user based on extraction of a combination of one or more of image data, text data, and/or location data, in which the building of the digital profile includes generating, by the system, a keywords ranking. The method includes generating, by the system, a user grouping recommendation for the user based on the ranking of keywords, in which the user grouping recommendation includes event data and a list of one or more second users attending the event.

An approach is provided in which a manufacturing test scheduling system predicts a dew point forecast indoor a facility based upon outdoor weather data and indoor environment data. The manufacturing test scheduling system selects time slots in the dew point forecast based upon a pre-defined dew point threshold and, in turn, schedules tests of a liquid cooled computer system during the selected time slots.

Features to include within a predictive build of a computing system are selected. The predictive build is an anticipated final build of the computing system prior to receiving a firm customer order for the computing system in accordance with which an actual final build of the computing system is then built. A marginal cost of first building the predictive build and then modifying the predictive build to realize the actual final build, as compared to building the actual final build without first building the predictive build and then modifying predictive build to realize the actual final build, is estimated based on the features selected. Responsive to determining that the marginal cost is less than a predetermined acceptable marginal cost limit, the predictive build is built prior to receiving the firm customer order, and then is modified to realize the actual final build upon receiving the firm customer order.

A mechanism is provided in a data processing system for automatic case assignment. The mechanism extracts features from a machine readable form of a case to be assigned. An expertise classifier generates an initial case assignment matrix matching the case to a plurality of caseworkers based on the extracted features, a caseworker relationship graph, and an entity relationship graph. A personnel filter filters the initial case assignment matrix based on expertise, availability, and caseload of the plurality of caseworkers to form a final caseworker assignment. The mechanism assigns the case to an identified caseworker based on the final caseworker assignment.

A test unit, operating in a first hardware operating state, receives a request for the input data from a test platform. In response to the receiving the request, the test unit determines that retrieving the input data requires the test unit to be in a second hardware operating state. In response to the determining, the test unit transitions from the first hardware operating state to the second operating hardware state. In the second hardware operating state, the test unit retrieves the input data. Once the test unit transitions to the second and correct hardware operating state, the test unit transmits the input data to the test platform.

A fulfillment test of a computing system having components is performed within a build-to-order test phase. Responsive to the fulfillment test failing, the component that most contributed to the fulfillment test failing is replaced, regardless of whether the given component was determined to be suspect or marginally defective pursuant to a fabrication test previously performed within a build-to-plan test phase. Any other component of that contributed to the fulfillment test failing and that was determined to be suspect or marginally defective pursuant to the fabrication test previously performed within the build-to-plan test phase is also replaced.

An apparatus includes a system test module that initiates a system power test for a computer system. The computer system includes one or more power supplies that provide power to system components. The system power test includes determining power system characteristics under various loading conditions. The apparatus includes a configure module that configures a system component during the system power test. The system component uses a higher amount of power after being configured than in a previous un-configured condition. The apparatus includes a de-configure module that de-configures the system component during the system power test. The system component uses a lower amount of power after being de-configured than in a previous configured condition. The apparatus includes a diagnostic module that measures power system performance of the computer system during varying loading conditions caused by configuring and de-configuring one or more system components by the configure module and the de-configure module.

A testing backplane apparatus includes first test ports configured to receive a first processor assembly under test and the plurality of first test ports may be an even number of first test ports or an odd number of first test ports. The testing backplane apparatus includes second test ports, where each first test port corresponds to a second test port and the second test ports connect to a second processor assembly. The testing backplane apparatus includes a signal pathway from each first test port to a second test port. The signal pathway includes a signal path length within a range between a maximum signal path length and a minimum signal path length. Each port on the first processor assembly corresponds to each port on the second processor assembly and the testing backplane apparatus is configured differently from a backplane used as a final destination for operating the first processor assembly.
