The invention relates to a brush-commutated electrical machine. The machine includes a rotor with rotor coils which are arranged on rotor poles. The machine also includes a commutator with commutator laminations which are electrically connected to the rotor coils, and having two brushes which are arranged offset in relation to one another, with the result that the brushes alternately commutate when the rotor moves. The machine also includes a stator having stator poles which are arranged in the circumferential direction and at least some of which are provided with stator magnets, wherein the stator poles are designed and/or arranged such that an alternating stator magnetic field which is generated by said stator poles in the circumferential direction is formed differently depending on the pole direction of the respective stator pole.

The invention relates to a method for detecting blocking or sluggishness (M, M) of a DC motor (). The method comprises the following steps: applying a voltage pulse (U=O) to the DC motor (); monitoring a motor current (I) flowing through the DC motor (); detecting a maximum value of the motor current (I) following the application of the voltage pulse; checking whether a change in the motor current (I) after reaching the maximum value exceeds a specific amount; signalling the blocking or the sluggishness (M, M) of the DC motor () if the change in the motor current (I) after reaching the maximum value exceeds the specific amount.

The invention relates to a six-pole DC machine, particularly a DC motor for use in a motor vehicle, having a stator () excited preferably by a permanent magnet and a rotor () which is rotatably supported in a pole housing () and which has a wave winding () and a commutator (), and having a brush carrier () for holding the brushes () and preferably additional components (). In contrast to a full equipping, the brush arrangement has less than six brushes (), which are arranged on the circumference of the commutator () at an angular distance of approximately 60&#xb0; to each other. The invention relates to a method for producing the rotor winding of an electrical machine having at least four exciter poles in the stator () and having a commutator rotor () with a number of slots (N) and pole teeth (Z) which deviates from the number of exciter poles, and having a number of individual tooth coils (S) and laminations (L) which is at least twice as high as the number of pole teeth, wherein the individual tooth coils are wound, starting from the first coil (S) onto in each case that pole tooth with the lowest angular error (Wf) in relation to a pole division (Pt). In order to permit non-critical guidance of the winding wire () in the region of the lamination connections, provision is made, at least in the case of a last-wound section (B) of the coils (S), preferably in the case of all of the coils, for the winding wire (), with which contact is made by a lamination (L) in each case between two coils (S), to be fed from one side of the lamination (L) and guided away from the other side, and for at least one pole tooth (Z), but at most two pole teeth (Z) to be situated between the slot (N) from which the winding wire () of the lamination (L) is fed and the slot (N) at which said winding wire is guided away from the lamination (L).

An electrical machine, in particular an electric motor, has a first number (k) of commutator laminates () and brushes (), wherein the commutator laminates () are arranged distributed uniformly in the circumferential direction of a circumference of a laminate support (). The brushes () are arranged such that commutation times are distributed as uniformly as possible in order to reduce current ripple when using a wave winding and a number of brushes () which is less than a number of poles () in the electrical machine.

The invention relates to a method for producing the rotor winding of an electric machine comprising at least four exciter poles in the stator and a commutator rotor with a number of pole teeth which deviates from the number of exciter poles as well as a number of individual tooth coils and commutator segments that is at least twice as large as the number of pole teeth. In order to obtain low torque ripple and a long service life by optimally commutating the coils, a first coil is wound from an initial segment at a selectable offset angle to the initial segment on a first pole tooth, the winding wire is then fixed to another commutator segment at a predefined segment interstice length, whereupon a coil is successively wound from each segment onto the pole tooth having the lowest angular error relative the offset angle in relation to the pole separation of the stator, and the winding wire is then contacted on another segment at the same segment interstice length.

When there is an even number of slots, pole teeth and coils, the beginning and end of one coil of the coils disposed on adjacent pole teeth is connected directly to the laminations adjacent to one another, and the beginning and end of the other coil is connected via one of the contact bridges to the laminations adjacent to one another.

For an axial lengthening of the armature body that is simple and economical to produce, one preferably stacked flux-conducting element each, whose profile corresponds to the tooth head profile, is placed on the axially pointing end faces of the tooth heads.
