A pneumatic paintball marker has, for example, a feed system for receiving paintballs from paintball containers having different outlets. The feed system includes a lever and a drive system. The drive system defines an opening through the marker and into the breech. Actuation of the lever moves the opening between at least two positions. The breech receives paintballs from one of the containers when in the first position and from the other paintball container when in the second position.

A paintball loader which feeds paintballs to a paintball marker has a rotor body and a drive motor for rotating the rotor body. The paintball loader can include a latch member for selectively securing an upper shell member to a lower shell member. The paintball loader can include a ramp member inside the upper and lower shell members. The ramp member moves between a first or flattened position and a second or raised position to facilitate operation of the loader. The components of the loader are designed so that assembly/disassembly is performed with few, if any, tools to facilitate cleaning and/or maintenance.

An articulated device for protecting the knee as well as above-the-knee and below-the-knee leg portions comprises a first part shaped and dimensioned to cup the knee and cradle a small section of the leg above it. A second part forming a greave for the below-the-knee portion of the leg is slidingly connected to a longitudinal plate which is hinged at its top to the lower edge of the first part. An adjustable elastomeric strap biases the second part away from the first part, allowing the two parts to move axially in relation to one another during flexion and extension of the knee, while keeping the device tautly against the leg and knee at all times.

A container which can be held and opened by one hand has a dome-shaped cap formed by a series of adjacent, contiguous and ogee-shaped segments resiliently held together by an elastic ring. When the cap is forced down over the opening rim of the vessel, the ogee-shaped segments separate to expose the vessel opening. A similar cap mounted in the inverse direction in the inlet of a paintball-shooting gun magazine opens when contacted by the rim of a paintball container from which the magazine is being reloaded.

A goggle having a close fitting interface with the wearer's brow, cheekbones and nose bridge, comprises a set of detachable foam strips for easy and rapid substitution or replacement. Foam strips of various thickness and density are permanently bonded to a carrier band removably attachable to inner portions of the goggle frame.

A non-fogging goggle assembly comprises a transparent film of polyester or polycarbonate coated with a hydrophilic composition that lowers the surface tension of water droplets, causing them to spread rather than form vision-obstructing beads. The film is applied against the inner face of the goggle lens and releasably held in place without any adhesive by pressure-fitting the edge of the film or parts thereof into peripheral slots or grooves cut into the section of the frame surrounding the lens.

Non-fogging goggles

A non-fogging goggles includes a double lens that consists of a pair of two spaced-apart lenses that have an air interstice therebetween and in which the inner surface of the outer lens is coated with a metal film. The metal coating is preferably made of gold and is vacuum-deposited on the outer lens. The body heat radiated by the user is reflected on the metal film and reduces the temperature differential between the inner lens and the area enclosed by the goggles, thereby preventing fogging of the inner lens. The radiated heat will also contribute in maintaining the temperature of the lens of any corrective eyeglasses worn under the goggles.
