A file holder and organizer is provided that can be used in either a horizontal or vertical direction. The file holder contains at least one removable partition and unitary body constructed of a material suitable for folding to provide the body for the file holder.

Storage and filing container for magnetic disks

The present invention provides a multiple-partitioned shelf unit comprising a rigid open-ended shelf having a four-sided, substantially horizontal floor, a four-sided substantially horizontal ceiling, and means supporting said ceiling above said floor. The supporting means includes two spaced-apart upstanding members defining therebetween the horizontal extent of the shelf open end. The ceiling further includes a downwardly-extending lip. The free end of the lip and floor define therebetween the vertical extent of the shelf open end. The shelf unit further includes a fiberboard shell having an upstanding rear panel hingedly connected to two upstanding side panels. The shell is positioned within the shelf with said rear panel rearward of the shell's open end and the free ends of the side panels each being disposed at opposite ends of shelf open end, each adjacent and inward of one of the upstanding members, and at least a portion of each of the side panels extends behind the lip. Further included is means forming fiberboard compartments open to said shelf open end wherein the compartment-forming means extend between the side panels and, together with the adjacent upstanding member, said lip, and the rear panel, hold the side panels in a stationary upright position.

Literature shelving

A copy holder which simultaneously positions and supports a first relatively loose display and a second relatively fixed display in a manner so that the displays does not interfere with each other. A rigid support member defines a flat display panel, a pair of side flanges and a lower supporting ledge. Leg means supports the panel in a selected upright position. A mounting means in the form of a transparent sheet is removably mounted to the support member so as to extend over the flat display panel. A first display can be loosely supported on the ledge in front of the transparent sheet. A second display can be more permanently positioned between the transparent sheet and the panel, so as to be visable through the transparent sheet. Magnet means can be provided to movably retain the loose first display in position against the front of the transparent sheet. A line guide also is preferably provided and movably mounted to the rigid support member in front of the transparent sheet.

Copy holder

A storage unit is provided, which is particularly adapted for use as a flat file, comprising a fiberboard housing having a plurality of particle board shelf-supporting panels with recesses that support fiberboard drawer shelves encased at their forward edges by a rigid casing, and further including a rigid peripheral frame for the open end of the housing, and a plurality of drawers preferably having large horizontal dimensions relative their respective heights.

Flat file

There is provided a reinforcing frame for an open-ended container, adapted to receive the forward edges of the container at its open end, having at least three channelled sides forming a continuous frame body, and formed each by two spaced-apart leg members interconnected by a base member and at least one rigid bar disposed between adjacent leg members in close proximity to the base member. The bar would be disposed between the base member and a forward edge of a container received by the channelled sides. Also provided is a means for linking adjacent framed shells in the form of a clip that extends about adjacent frames and is held against sliding along the frame front. Further, a unit including a plurality of linked frame shells is provided.

File frame

There is provided an improved storage unit including a framed shell and a storage-compartment insert that is to remain stationary during use, wherein an open end is provided for access to the storage compartment, which open end is enclosed by a vertically moveable door which is guided on tracks on the sides of the shell's frame and is received into a space between the top of the shell and the top of the insert.

Storage unit

There is provided a compartment for storage of side-tabbed file or the like which includes a cabinet which receives at least one reversible, open-ended file tray. The tray can be positioned in an open condition for easy access to the files stored within or in a closed condition for dust free storage. When stored, open, the tabs of the files extend outwardly of the compartment for simple observation. When stored closed, a restraining means is provided to avoid file movement through the open-end.

Side tab file

An improved data storage unit for storing computer printout sheets is provided which includes at least one open-ended compartment and at least one portable binder adapted to be positioned horizontally in the compartment with its back end facing outwardly thereof. Preferably there is mounted on the binder's back end a label holder which allows the contents of the binder to be easily identified by visual observation of the storage unit. When the unit includes a plurality of compartments, they are preferably disposed in a vertical alignment.

Data storage unit

A detachable pull and label holder for a drawer front panel includes a U-member and a pull means and label holder means on the outer surface of one leg thereof. A suitable drawer front panel is multi-layered with the outermost layers attached or secured at the upper end and a suitable drawer has an opening in the bottom near the front panel providing a bottom edge to the front panel around which the U-member is positioned. The leg positioned on the inside of the panel engages the inner layer.

Drawer pull and label holder

A detachable label holder for an open-ended compartment includes a U-member and an arm secured to the free end of one leg thereof. A suitable compartment has a multilayered wall with an opening in the innermost layer so that a leg of the U-member may be inserted into the opening and slid toward the open end of the compartment, whereby the base of the U-member engages the rear edge of the opening in the layer. The arm includes a label holder means.
