A bird-shaped decoy is supported on a swivel that is supported on a tubular component which allows the decoy to rotate. A bird-shaped decoy is mounted on a first swivel and a second swivel is mounted on a tubular component. An offset support rod connects the two swivels allowing the decoy to simultaneously orbit or rotate. The tubular component mounted swivel can have multiple support rods mounted thereon each extending to a swivel that supports a bird-shaped decoy.

A neck support knife for supporting a bottle during capping includes an arcuate planar surface having a plurality of elongated cleats extending away from the planar surface and arranged in a radial pattern. The cleats have a tooth-like vertical cross-section. An inner arcuate face adjoins the planar surface and engages the bottle neck during operation. On each cleat, the corner nearest the inner arcuate face is shaped to reduce contact with the bottle flange/neck junction. In a preferred embodiment, the cleats are all canted from the radial orientation in the same direction so that the bottle is biased against the inner arcuate face during capping.

Anti-rotation neck support knife

A security label is attached to a fabric material for producing a signal when passed through a magnetic sensing field to produce a signal as an anti theft device for retail stores. The security label including a security device, such as a metallic strip, is attached to garments, apparel, soft goods (towels, etc.) and footwear (sneakers, etc.). The methods for attaching the security labels to the fabric materials include allowing convenient removal of the security device after the sales transaction and include permanent attachment. The security labels are attached to woven, coated, and synthetic fabrics by conventional sewing, heat sealing and/or ultrasonic sealing.

Apparatus for cutting a continuously fed web into sheets and for vertically stacking such sheets. The apparatus receives the web between a pair of cutting knives, one of which is periodically rotatable by a motor periodically connected thereto by a pulse fed electrical clutch, and the resulting sheets are conveyed to a vertical stacker by a plurality of laterally spaced conveyor belts driven by the motor. The stacker has a pair of sheet receiving uprights adjustable toward and away from each other and which are mounted on an adjustable stop for engaging the leading edges of the sheets. The stop and the uprights are adjustable in angle with respect to the vertical. A roller below the stack has either crown portions beneath the belt or non-circular portions between pairs of belts to urge the sheets into the stack. Stripping fingers are between pairs of belts for removing the sheets from the belts. To prevent throwing of the sheets, a hold-down roller engages the web adjacent to where it is cut.

Combined web-cutting and sheet stacking apparatus

Apparatus for printing discrete patterns on a web of indefinite length comprising a printing station, a curing zone and a cutting station at which the web is cut into sections, each comprising the printed matter. The web is advanced stepwise and at the printing station the pattern is imprinted in one or more colors with a sublimable dye composition. The curing zone comprises a heated tower against the surfaces of which the web is pressed during movement of the web to cure the dye composition. Two pairs of rollers cooperate to cause the web to contact the tower surfaces during the web movement and to separate the web from such surfaces during printing and cutting of the web which is cut into sections at the cutting station after it leaves the tower. Control apparatus synchronizes the movement of the web with the printing, curing and cutting operations.

Sublimation printing apparatus

A buffer valve or compensator for use in a margarine mold system to permit continuous operation of a positive discharge pump in the system, such valve including a valve housing connected to a conduit section for a flow line on the discharge side of the pump, a central discharge tube in the housing, a blind bore in the discharge tube terminating at the inward end of the tube, lateral discharge ports in the discharge tube into the bore at the inward end thereof, an annular piston in the housing around the discharge tube movable between a first inward end position covering the discharge ports and a second outward end position uncovering the discharge ports, a stop member limiting the outward movement of the annular piston, and ports in the closed outward end of the housing for introducing air under pressure to bias the piston toward the inward end position. The buffer valve is connected between the positive displacement pump, a chiller, and the mold machine. A margarine recirculating line runs from the discharge tube of the valve through a remelt tank back to a storage tank connected with the pump. An air supply is connected with the housing air ports. The air system includes an exhaust valve which opens when the air supply is shut off allowing the buffer valve to open to recirculate margarine when the mold machine is cycling from finishing filling one mold to starting filling the next mold.
