A gas generator includes a chamber with an outlet port; a breakable seal; pressurized gas stored in the chamber; and an insert nozzle positioned in the chamber having at least three intermediate orifices and positioned between the gas outlet and at least some of the pressurized gas. The insert nozzle is arranged to deform after the breakable seal is ruptured, during the application of a pressure difference between a downstream face and an upstream face of the insert nozzle exerted by the at least some of the pressurized gas.

A disc-shaped pyrotechnic gas generator includes a housing with a plurality of diffusion holes. A pyrotechnic substance is arranged in the housing. A filter is arranged in the housing. A containment member is arranged in the housing between the pyrotechnic substance and the filter. A drainage member is arranged in the housing between the pyrotechnic substance and the containment member. The filter is to provide support to a supported portion of the containment member at a start of operation of the gas generator.

Gas generator

Gas generator for a safety system, comprising: at least one pyrotechnic substance arranged to produce gases; a first part; a second part; a third part; and a fourth part separate from the previous parts, the first part and the second part being friction-welded to the third part. The gas generator is characterised in that the fourth part comprises: a first interface for positioning with the first part, and a second interface for positioning with the second part, such as to temporarily block at least one degree of freedom between the first and second parts in order to allow the first and second parts to be simultaneously friction-welded to the third part.

Gas generator for a safety system

A gas generator includes at least one pyrotechnic substance, at least one subassembly formed at least of a first component and a second component, and at least one third component fixed to at least one of the first component and of the second component. The this component and one of the first component and of the second component each comprise an indexing interface arranged to temporarily block at least two degrees of freedom between the third component of the one of the first component and of the second component.
