In a lighting strip system having an elongate support arrangement for holding lamp units and lines for electricity supply and/or signal transmission, the support arrangement has an I-shaped profile in cross section, with two receiving regions, which run in the longitudinal direction of the support arrangement and are separated by a preferably vertically aligned partition, wherein the lines for electricity supply and/or signal transmission are arranged in one of the receiving regions and operational devices of the lamp units are arranged in the other receiving region.

A support rail for holding and supplying power to illumination modules has a wiring unit with coupling elements for electrically connecting at least two illumination modules, wherein the wiring unit is divided into two sub-units which each have at least one coupling element, and wherein the sub-units can be adjusted relative to each other in the longitudinal direction of the support rail.

A light strip system for securing luminaire units and supplying them with power having an elongate support structure, especially at least one support rail for securing the luminaire units and power supply extending along the support structure for supplying the luminaire units with power. The power supply includes first lines which extend along the support structure and define a first power supply circuit (I), and second lines which extend over part of the length of the first power supply circuit (I) along the support structure and define a second power supply circuit (II) which is designed to be in electrical contact with the luminaire units, the first power supply circuit (I) being coupled to the second power supply circuit (II) by a converter unit which converts a first supply voltage available in the first power supply circuit (I) to a second supply voltage suitable for operating the luminaire units.

Light strip system and converter unit therefor

A support rail for holding and supplying power to a plurality of lighting modules. The support rail has first conductors for forming a first power supply circuit and second conductors for forming a second power supply circuit. The support rail additionally has a converter unit for electrically coupling the second power supply circuit to the first power supply circuit. The second power supply circuit also has a first coupling element for electrically connecting a first lighting module and a second coupling element for electrically connecting a second lighting module. The result of this design of the second power supply circuit is that a single converter unit is sufficient for converting a voltage for supplying power to the two lighting modules. In this way a particularly cost-effective and compact construction of the support rail becomes possible.

A lamp, which has a light source having several light-emitting elements, in particular in the form of LEDs. The lamp has first passage openings on a first side next to the light source and second passage openings on a second side next to the light source. The passage openings are designed for an air flow for cooling the light source. The lamp also has a first air-conducting surface on the first side next to the first passage openings and below the light source and a second air-conducting surface on the second side next to the second passage openings and below the light source, wherein the two air-conducting surfaces are designed in such a way that the two air-conducting surfaces form an air incidence region that expands away from the light source.

A light cover for an elongate illumination system has a substantially planar, elongate light-emitting element and securing strips provided on the longitudinal sides of the light-emitting element, the securing strips being provided for securing the light cover to a light housing. The light-emitting element and the securing strips are made of different materials and the material of the securing strips is more flexible than the material of the light-emitting element.

A luminaire contains a main light source the light of which is emitted by the luminaire, and an additional light source the light of which is mixed with the light of the main light source before the emission thereof. A part of the light issued by the additional light source is, with respect to the light emitted by the main light source, issued by the luminaire housing directed to the side or to the rear side.
