A cable storage system that may include a mounting portion that is configured to extend from a wall portion of a cable storage enclosure, and an envelope portion. The envelope portion may be configured to contain a coil of cable. The envelope portion may include an envelope opening portion that may be located on an edge portion of the envelopment portion. The mounting portion may be configured to support the envelope portion though the envelope opening portion. The envelope portion may be configured to support the coil of cable in the envelope portion so as to restrict the coil of cable from expanding and interfering with contents of the cable storage enclosure.

A terminal system assembly includes a base plate, a spool, an adapter module, and a spool locking washer. The base includes a spindle. The spool may be rotatingly coupled with the spindle of the base plate and to receive an input fiber cable. The adapter module may couple a fiber of the input fiber cable with a fiber of an output fiber cable. The spool locking washer may couple the adapter module with the spindle and may prevent rotation of the spool and the adapter module.

An assembly for deploying fiber optic cable includes a housing defining a cavity and comprising a wall. The wall defines an opening allowing a fiber optic cable to pass. Fiber optic cable deployment assemblies, systems, and methods

A terminal system assembly includes a base plate, a spool, an adapter module for securing a connection between a fiber of an input fiber cable and a fiber of an output fiber cable, and a cable management plate coupled with the spool. The spool is rotatably mounted to the base plate and is configured to receive the input fiber cable. The adapter module is configured to be coupled with the cable management plate. The spool containing the fiber input cable is allowed to freely rotate until the adapter module is coupled with the cable management plate. The adapter module includes an anti-rotation portion that is configured to cooperate with a portion of the base plate to prevent rotation of the spool and the adapter module when the adapter module is coupled with the spool.

A fiber distribution system includes a fiber distribution terminal, an assembly separate from the fiber distribution terminal, a third fiber optic cable, and an end-user fiber optic device. The fiber distribution terminal includes a first fiber optic cable, a first rotatable spool storing a portion of the first fiber optic cable, and a first adapter optically coupled to the first fiber optic cable. The assembly includes a second rotatable spool storing a second fiber optic cable optically coupled to the first adapter, and a second adapter optically coupled to the second fiber optic cable. The third fiber optic cable is optically coupled to the second adapter. The end-user fiber optic device is optically coupled to the third fiber optic cable.
