A faucet assembly including a mounting base, an upper faucet assembly, and a cam fastener. The mounting base is configured to be coupled to a mounting deck and includes first and second inlet water conduits. The cam fastener is rotatably coupled to the mounting base and the upper faucet assembly to releasably couple the upper faucet assembly to the mounting base.

Overhead cam faucet mounting system

A valve assembly includes a housing that defines a fluid inlet and three outlets. A cartridge defining a fluid chamber includes an inlet boss that is inserted within an inlet port. The cartridge includes outlet seats engagable with any one or a combination of two outlet ports. Rotation of the cartridge selectively engages the outlet seats with any one or combination of two outlet ports. A cap retains the cartridge within the bore and is moveable between a first position that holds the cartridge in fluid communication with the inlet port to direct the fluid to specific designated outlet ports and a second position where the cartridge is free from the inlet port and allows fluid flow between the inlet port and all of the outlet ports independent of the cartridge assembly.

A top mounting faucet assembly comprising a mounting plate that may be mounted to a sink surface, a waterway tube, a faucet body housing, and a locking mechanism. The waterway tube is housed within the faucet body housing, to form a removable faucet assembly. The locking mechanism is attached to the mounting plate. This removable faucet assembly is mounted upon the mounting plate by attaching the faucet assembly to the locking mechanism.

A valve assembly includes an escutcheon that is secured to a valve housing by a threaded adapter. Thus, no screws need extend through the escutcheon, resulting in a more visually pleasing outer appearance. Further, a trim sleeve may be inserted into the escutcheon adapter to turn the escutcheon adapter relative to the valve housing and adjust the position of the escutcheon tightly against the wall. The present invention thus provides an escutcheon which need not have any screws to secure it to the fixed structure, but which is securely held to the valve housing.

A thermostatic valve for mixing hot water and cold water includes a valve body defining a first inlet, a second inlet, a mixing chamber, a first passageway between the first inlet and the mixing chamber, and a second passageway between the second inlet and the mixing chamber. The thermostatic valve includes first and second flow control assemblies and first and second screen assemblies assembled into the valve body. A first screen assembly is positioned downstream of a first flow control assembly and a second screen assembly is positioned downstream of a second flow control assembly. Each screen assembly is removable from the valve body and includes a screen body having a screening portion with a lower open end and a top portion. The screen assembly includes a closing cap to retain accumulated particulate matter. A retaining clip is used to hold the screen assembly in position within the valve body.

In-line screens for thermostatic valves

A shower faucet manifold assembly includes a manifold defining an inlet including first and second bores. The first bore is of a larger diameter than the second bore. Disposed within the first bore is a piston including an o-ring seal that engages the inner surface of the second bore to prevent water flow. The first and second bores are disposed along a common axis to enable manufacturing and fabrication from a common end.

A rotational limit stop comprising a substantially circular disc having an upper surface, a lower surface and a perimeter surface, the perimeter surface containing a plurality of teeth on one portion thereof, a central aperture passing through the center of the circular disc, and a plurality of resilient spring legs extending downwards from the lower surface of the disc, such that the resilient spring legs of the rotational limit stop flex to accommodate the compression forces as a faucet assembly containing the rotational limit stop is being assembled.

A thermostatic valve is controlled by a motor that receives signals from an electronic control module (ECM). The ECM sends an electric signal corresponding to a desired outlet stream temperature to the motor, which turns the thermostatic valve to a location corresponding to the desired temperature. The ECM also adapts the thermostatic valve capacity to outlet flow demands by restricting and opening inlet valves, ensuring that the thermostatic valve can maintain an equilibrium temperature for both high and low outlet flow applications.

A pivoting sleeve assembly for aligning a fluid delivery device perpendicular to a mounting surface when the fluid delivery device is mounted to a wall, the pivoting sleeve assembly made up of a fluid delivery device housed within a sleeve, the sleeve having a lower tubular portion and an upper arcuate portion, and an annular pivot ring, the inner surface thereof having an arcuate shape to conform to the shape of the upper arcuate portion of the sleeve, so that the sleeve may pivot within the contours of the pivot ring. This allows the sleeve to orient the fluid delivery device for proper mounting to the surface.
