A ride control system for a power machine having a lift arm movably coupled to a frame. A hydraulic cylinder configured to selectively control movement of the lift arm relative to the frame. An accumulator is in selective communication with a first end of the hydraulic cylinder. A pressure sensor communicates a signal indicative of a hydraulic pressure at a first end of the hydraulic cylinder. A ride control circuit allows selective communication between the accumulator and the first end of the hydraulic cylinder. A controller receives the signal from the pressure sensor, and prevents communication between the accumulator and the first end of the hydraulic cylinder until the signal from the pressure sensor indicates a pressure below an initial pressure threshold value.

Ride control system for power machine

An interface between a hydraulic power system and an hydraulically actuated engagement member includes a first portion that is pivotally coupled to a second portion, and has an inlet capable of being coupled to the power system. The second portion is fixedly attached to an attachment bracket capable of interfacing with an attachment. The first portion has a path to provide oil to the second portion, which in turn provides oil from the first portion to the attachment bracket. The attachment bracket includes a housing that accepts an engagement member capable of being hydraulically actuated to secure or release the attachment with respect to the power machine.

A foot pedal control for controlling operations of a machine has a folding foot pedal assembly that has two sections that pivot relative to each other, and both sections are pivoted relative to a platform of the machine. The two pedal sections will pivot relative to each other from a first folded position where they nest together with foot rest portions closely adjacent, to a second position where the foot rest portions are separated and will support a foot. In the position with the foot rest portions separated, both of the sections will pivot around a common axis to provide movement of a control link when using the foot operated pedal. The folded pedals can be locked from pivoting to then serve as a foot rest.

An off road machine is provided with a hydraulic system for operating drive motors for propelling the machine, as well as operating actuators for machine functions. The hydraulic system utilizes three pumps, with the pumps connected to a single high pressure relief valve. Additionally, two of the pumps normally are used for driving traction motors for the machine, and when a valve is operated the third pump flow is provided to both of the drive motors for the vehicle to increase the speed of machine movement. Additionally, a dump valve is used for insuring that the flow from the pump will be diverted to tank unless an operator ready signal is present.

Hydraulic pump circuit for mini excavators

An excavator undercarriage frame is made to reduce the amount of machining necessary for supporting a swing bearing and ring gear on which an upper swing platform including the cab and operator's platform are mounted. The frame is made in two separate frame sections having top plates and formed peripheral skirts that nest together to form a planar support on which the base ring of a swing bearing and ring gear are mounted. The frame section plates are thin enough so that they will flex to conform to the base ring of the swing bearing, so it is not necessary to provide a machined surface for the swing bearing. The frame sections are welded together only around the peripheral edges and skirts, so that the distortion in the plates is substantially eliminated. The plates can be then bolted or secured directly to the bearing base ring, preferably using a clamp ring on the bottom of the frame plates and will provide an adequate support with the two plate thicknesses, and will be true and square without machining.

Excavator frame and method of assembly

A power machine has a base, an operator support portion, and a hydraulic slew motor coupled to move the operator support portion relative to the base. A boom, an arm, and a tool are all coupled to one another and to the operator support portion and are powered by hydraulic actuators. A slew valve is coupled to receive hydraulic fluid under pressure from a hydraulic power circuit and is also coupled to the slew motor to provide hydraulic fluid to the slew motor and receive hydraulic fluid from the slew motor. A first power actuator valve is coupled to receive hydraulic fluid from the slew valve and is coupled to provide hydraulic fluid to one of the hydraulic boom actuator, the hydraulic arm actuator and the tool actuator. The slew valve is coupled in series with the power actuator valve.

Multifunction valve stack

A power machine includes a pair of traction motors to provide for travel of the machine. The power machine also includes a boom, an arm and a tool (such as a bucket). The power machine includes a hydraulic power circuit which has a valve stack that enables the boom and at least one of the arm and tool to be operated simultaneously.
